Author has written 100 stories for Alias Smith & Jones, and Quantum Leap. I find the writing process fascinating. I come up with the initial,(usually descriptive) paragraphs, but then Heyes and Curry just take control and I just try to keep up with them on the keyboard. I never know how a story is going to move along until it is suddenly there on the screen. I love the writing process! My zen is Lake Tahoe (often referred to as Lake Bigler in my stories as that was its original name), horseback riding in those beautiful Sierra Mountains. I also kayak, and am a fair to midland amateur seniors tennis player. I hold down one full time and one part time job, and am looking forward to retiring one day soon. I am a major Kid Curry fan and actually have some difficulty getting into Heyes' psyche sometimes, understanding his true motives. Kid is by far the more open book of the two, he wears his heart on his sleeve, so to speak. Heyes is much more the manipulator, so his silver tongue bodes well for him. In my mind, Heyes experiences life on a fairly cerebral level, while Kid experiences life on more of an emotional and intuitive level. One's not better than the other, just different, and enables them to often offer insight to each other that, separately, each might not see. My favorite stories to write are the short, humerus stories and the (Kid) hurt/comfort stories A few of my personal favorites are Terminal Diagnosis (my first story), Wind Whisperer, The Boys Talk to the Author (there are 2 of those), and Heyes reacts to Kid's Death. My goal is to entertain, and I hope my stories give you lots of entertainment. Reviews are fun to read, and sometimes offer some very interesting and useful input, so feel free to add to my fun and growth as a writer! And, of course, thank you for taking the time to read my profile page. |
