Hmm...where to begin?
How does the beginning sound?
Fine, fine, no need to be facetious.

I have been visiting this site for a long time now but never felt the inclination to give publishing any of my work a go until now. I suppose it was a fear of criticism that kept me on the side lines...no longer! Ok, ok enough of the amateur dramatics, tell them about yourself! Anyway (fights subconscious mind into submission whilst re-filling her mug of tea) my name is Jennifer. I began writing fan fiction during my second year of study; Law school became tedious and my long suppressed creative urges screamed to be released, no matter what the form nor cost to my degree. As a consequence I spent many an afternoon at my keyboard neglecting coursework with wild abandon, weaving my own little world in numerous genres; X-men and Morrowind are my personal favourites Wildly divergent no?

My main interests/ favourite actors/ favourite music Obsessions... include reading, watching movies; V for Vendetta is a definate personal favorite, writing; both stories and reviews, listening to Eminem, the LOTR, Hairspray and Narnia ...music to write stories to... soundtracks, SOME Enya, and other miscellaneous tracks on my iPod Gods gift to man kind, singing along ...badly... to the above tunes, Ben Foster, Johnny Depp, Summer Glau, Sean Bean, Gary Oldman (as Sirius Black), supporting the gay rights movement, campaigning against bullying in all it's forms, eating good food, enjoying good wine and having good conversation whether it be with life long friends or total strangers. I am also a firm believer in the right of every person to simply 'be' who they are; obviously unless they hurt others in the exercise of that right. This is a theme you may notice in a couple of my works; my main characters are often breaking the mould or fighting against taboos in some way.

Anyway! Enough about me. I'll start posting some of my work as soon as I'm able to. Please be kind in your critiques and I will offer you the same courtesy. Thank you for your kind attention.
