Peter Parker x Twilight Sparkle (Spider-Man and Friendship is Magic) - It's become quite obvious that this pairing has become my OTP. Peter and Twilight are a pair of eggheads with striking similarities and key differences. They're both humble, despite being destined for great things. Peter's a down-to-earth, emotional guy, and Twilight's a high-strung girl who is not quite in touch with her emotions. Peter's not very organized, and Twilight lives by the book. Peter knows how to get on everyone's nerves, and Twilight is irritated VERY easily. Peter's the nerdy chemist. Twilight's the dorky librarian. One's a superhero. The other is a princess. Link x Samus (Super Smash Bros) - It's cute. For one, they're both heroic mutes. Second, they're both anti-social heroes. Third, Samus seems like the type who will turn away from love, but Link seems like the type who opens himself up to all types of emotion (Twilight Princess version anyway). Polar opposites, yet it works like a charm.

Link x Lyn (Super Smash Bros) - Two swordsmen. Both incredibly young and idealistic. What's not to like? Lyn's a huge tomboy who is not really refined. Link's a country boy who plays with the children of the village. Lyn likes to play and tease her friends. Link serves as a role model to all of his. Need I go on?

Snake x Mei Ling (Metal Gear) - An absolute classic that's often overlooked. Mei Ling's happy, cheery, and severely thoughtful. Snake's grumpy, serious, and just downright rude. They're polar opposites and that could make a relationship work. Snake could teach Mei Ling to be a little more serious, and Mei Ling can make Snake lighten up a bit. Plus, there are several hints in Metal Gear Solid- Twin Snakes and Metal Gear Solid 4.

Luffy x Robin (One Piece) - I love this pairing. Robin is the oh-so serious type, and Luffy's a light-hearted individual. With his smile and open-heart, he found a way to get the ice-cold Robin to open up. That's all the proof I need.

Zoro x Nami (One Piece) -This is a neat pairing, too. Nami is always taking advantage of Zoro. Yet, Zoro always comes to the rescue when the time is right. XD

Sonic x Blaze (Sonic the Hedgehog) - More with the polar-opposites. Sonic's a laid-back kind of guy who'll rarely take anything seriously. Blaze on the other hand takes life way too seriously, often to the point where she regrets everything. Sonic can help her get over those obstacles, and Blaze can help him stay focused on the task at hand. Perfect!

Naruto x Temari (Naruto) - I have my reasons for liking this pairing. Naruto is Temari's little brother's best buddy. When the series first started, she overlooked him quite a bit, but after the events of the tournament, she grew to appreciate his strength. I could see a relationship building from this. Naruto, loud and dorky, loved by the serious, no nonsense, Temari.

Robin x Raven (Teen Titans) -Awesome. To me, Raven's much better suited for Robin than Starfire. Raven understands him and his dark demeanor and vice-versa. Robin was also there for Raven when she needed him most, during her transformation into the key. The pairing's perfect. End of story. Plus, Starfire's TOO nice. It can be nausiating at times...

Batman x Wonder Woman (Justice League) -Too cute for words. Batman the strong, silent, brooding type and Diana seems to know his weaknesses. In Justice League, all of the hints are there. Bats even softens up around her on occassion. If that isn't a sign, I don't know what is!

Zelda x Ike (Super Smash Bros) - Read Mewlon's story, "A Hero's Creed."

Lloyd x Sheena (Tales of Symphonia) - The absolute best pairing in Tales of Symphonia. They have so much in common, and it is obvious that Sheena has the hots for Lloyd. Even Zelos gives Lloyd hints that Sheena likes him. The Flanoir scene and Heimdall scenes are self-explanatory. Plus, their love is light-hearted and built from trust. That kind of love will last for an eternity, so it works magnificently.

Snake x Sheik (Super Smash Bros) -- Hey, Sheik IS a girl, after all. If you don't believe me, read her trophy in Brawl! Anyway, Sheik seems like she's gone through a lot in her life. Lord knows Snake's gone through a ton in his life as well. They understand each others pain, so I think it can work. Plus, it's different.

Snake x Zelda (Super Smash Bros) - It reminds me of Batman x Wonder Woman. Plus, it's under-used.

Mario x Vivian (Paper Mario II - The Thousand Year Door) - I loved this pairing the second Vivian joined the team. She was always picked on by her sisters and Mario became her first friend. Plus, it's obvious that in the ending of the story, Vivian wanted to tell Mario how she felt. To me, Vivian and Mario should be together. Plus, I mean the American version of Vivian. The Japanese version of Vivian is a guy. I'm no fan of yaoi, so let's go with the USA, okay?

Travis Touchdown x Shinobu (No More Heroes) - An overlooked pairing. Shinobu was the only fighter spared by Travis, not to mention that she saves him from certain doom at the end of the first adventure. She came back and she was obviously in love with him. I only wish they explored it further...

Spider-Man (Peter Parker) x Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) (Marvel Comics) - Over the past year, I grew to really like this pairing. I see the contrast in styles here. Carol's the hard-nosed woman with a military persona while Peter's a lot more laid back and has a huge sense of humor to boot. In Ms. Marvel Issue #47, they even go on a date and bond a great deal near the end. Nowadays, in the Ms. Marvel's Dark Reign series, she admitted that she has strong feelings for Spidey. They're both a part of the New Avengers, so my inner geek is waiting for a confession. Hopefully it'll be soon.

Lloyd x Presea (Tales of Symphonia) - Again, a rather underused pairing. Truth be told, I overlooked this for so long. Then I finally beat the game with Presea as Lloyd's soulmate, and I've been hooked on it ever since. I never supported Genis x Presea for many reasons. In terms of age, personality, and means, it just doesn't cut it for me. Lloyd x Presea on the other hand comes so much closer in all those terms. Plus, Lloyd has the patience to handle a girl like Presea while Genis does not. Play the game and you'll see what I mean. It's true love. =)

Spider-Man (Peter Parker) x Spider Woman (Jessica Drew) (Marvel Comics) - First off, not the Ultimate Universe. That's just creepy since she's a clone of him. Now, the mainstream universe is pure win. It seems Spidey has this effect on people. Jessica hated his offbeat and humorous persona, but she warmed up to the point where she joins in.

Spider-Man (Peter Parker) x X-23 (Laura Kinney) (Marvel Comics) - Another pairing that grew on me. In terms of personality, these two couldn't be more opposite of each other. Laura's a silent yet deadly beauty, and Peter's a talkative but responsible individual. The fanfic, Twhip Snikt, does a great job showing how their opposite traits could work in a relationship. Plus, my inner geek noticed the interaction these two have in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Laura's win quote over Peter... "Didn't much appreciate being called 'Wolverette.' =3
