Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Hello all, I welcome you to my little hobby. I'm a long time reader of fanfiction, and though I've dabbled in my own writings off and on for about six years I've only just published the first chapter of one of my stories. I'm male, in my early to mid twenties, and a citizen of the United States. I've been a Harry Potter fan since I received the first three books on my tenth birthday, though my enthusiasm dwindled a bit with the sixth and seventh books, due to significant issues with the finale of the series. My work will almost exclusively be H/Hr, although I do experiment with Harry-Tonks and Harry-Luna on occasion. Most of my work will feature a misguided Dumbledore. Not that I dislike him, but rather it is just fun to read/write this aspect of his character. That said, I rarely bash him completely. I just feel that his star isn't as pure as some would believe. The same may be said for Ron and to a lesser extent Molly or Ginny. I tend to enjoy the Ron that is easy to poke fun at, it also happens to mesh well with a Harry-Hermione pairing. My views on other characters are rather fluid, I've had scenarios for both the redeemed and revolting Snape, the vile and victimized Draco, and the parent or pushover Sirius among others. These will change depending on the story, as I enjoy exploring the possibilities. That is what fiction is about, is it not? Other things one may find in my work: more impressive magic, (hopefully) fleshed out back story, exploration into the how and why that some characters operate, the history of the Potters, the effects of the Dursley's on Harry's psyche, and many others. I welcome you along for the ride, please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. -- Godric My Stories: Godric's Blade - H/Hr. One of the main stories I've worked on over the years to explore an alternate ending to the series. Picks up at the beginning of OotP, during the dementor attack, and veers almost entirely off the familiar track. One of the main subplots I hope to successfully work into this story is the history of the Potter family. We as readers know virtually nothing about Harry's heritage, and I hope to create a believable and hopefully minimally cliched background. Will probably end up in the multiple hundred thousand word range; although I'm writing with only a 2 or 3 chapter buffer, and following an outline I've worked out over time, I do not know exactly when it may be finished. Hopefully maintaining at least a monthly update schedule. |
