Thank you :) Books- Lonesome Dove, Hattie Big Sky, ALL of Louis L'Amour's work, The Outsiders, (ya know what's ridiculous? True Grit, WarGames, The Cowboys, American Outlaws, The Breakfast Club, The War at Home (a poignant and beautiful story), Walk the Line, The Outsiders!! Oh, c'mon like I'm the only one thinking it! ;) Quotes: Breakfast Club: Andy: We're all pretty bizarre, some of us are just better at hiding it that's all. (So true!) 0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 Allison: Your middle name is Ralph, as in puke, your birth date's March 12th, you're 5'9 and a half, you weigh 130 pounds and your social security number is 049380913. Andy: Wow. Are you psychic? Allison: No Brian: Well, would you mind telling me how you know all this about me? Allison: I stole your wallet. (LOL) 0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0oo0o0o0o0o0o0 Andy: Two hits, me hittin' you, you hittin' the floor Young Guns: Billy: I like these odds... o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 Dick: Rumour has it you killed a man Billy. You don't seem like the killin' sort. Dirty Steve: Yeah Billy what'd ya kill him for? Billy: He was hackin' on me (LOL!! luv him!) Billy: Reap it, Murphy, you son of a bitch. (BANG! Right between the lookers! No one pisses Billy off and gets away with it!) Hidalgo: Frank: Mister... you can say anything you want about me. I'm gonna have to ask you not to talk about my horse that way. (Ha!) Lonesome Dove: Woodrow: You ever get tired o' loafin' I reckon you can get a job waitin' on tables. Gus: Oh, I had a job waitin' tables once. S' on a riverboat. I wasn't no older than Newt, there, but I hadda give it up. Newt: How come? Gus: Well I was, too young and pretty and the whores wouldn't let me alone. (Quite the ego huh?) o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o Gus: I'm just tryin' to keep everything in balance, Woodrow. You do more work than you got to, so it's my obligation to do less. (I've got that very same obligation with people in my life!) Gus: The older the violin the sweeter the music Things I hate: SLASH!! FEMMESLASH!! FLAMERS!! Anyone who flames someone else's work KNOWS that they're the ones with the minimal writing skills. Everyone's writing is extraordinary in it's own right, from an amateur fic to a classic novel. No matter what the work is the author/authoress threw their entire heart and soul into the work and the reviews should be kind and written with only the best of intentions. There is a major difference between constructive criticism and being a twit. SMALL DOGS!! I had an evil one once that bit me dozens and dozens of times. I couldn't even walk into the same room as him because he would attack me viciously. I don't mind the gentle, docile ones and I would never hurt a dog - ever. But all the same, I like big dogs. lol |
