For nearly all my life, I've wanted to be a writer. I'm a strong advocate for YA literature, and when I'm not writing fanfiction, I tend to write YA Sci-fi. I decided "officially" that I wanted to be a novelist when I was ten years old, and that passion has only grown over the years. My skill as a writer was grown in no small part due to fanfiction. It taught me how to build a character and plot and gave me an ear for dialogue.

As far as fanfiction goes, I'm strongest with Sonic the Hedgehog. Adventure, hurt/comfort, tragedy, that kind of stuff. A bit of romance and mystery as well, and I'm a sucker for friendship oneshots. I've been writing Sonic fanfiction for more than half my life, and I don't think I'll ever know any fiction universe quite as well as Sonic's.

My faith is, quite obviously, the most important part of my life, and it often comes through in my writing, especially of late because it is becoming a conscious part of what I do. I am Roman Catholic, and as such, I often investigate morality in my writing.

According to my friends, I tend to be silly and sweet; actually, I'm often referred to as "innocent" and I'm proud of that. But I'm actually a Gryffindor, so that means something. It sometimes surprises people to learn that I write darker fiction. In reality, I do it because it allows you to get to the core of what makes a person.

Successfully completed NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) 2010 - 2018!! Also a participant of 2009.

On Relationships: I'm generally for anything canon, or at least implied or hinted at in the canon. Sonamy is probably my favorite, but I support Tailscos and KnucklesXRouge as well. I also like Silblaze (though I don't often read it) and Shadrouge. I also like some unusual, non-canon stuff like Sonblaze, KnucklesXAmy, and Tailsamy. I don't read it very much, I don't write it very much, but I can see it working in certain circumstances. Anything outside of Sonic, I'm usually for what's canon (for example, RoryXAmy in Doctor Who for fairly obvious reasons).

Characters I Most Enjoy Writing:
Sonic: His heart is the most interesting thing to investigate. He's reckless and laid back, but he's so passionate about protecting the ones he loves. To write him is like writing a paradox and is much more complex than people credit.
Knuckles: I never seem to focus on him as a protagonist but whenever he's in one of my stories, my characterization gets better. He is so distinctive that he can only be himself. If he ends up OOC, he loses all his energy in the story.
Amy Rose: She is a challenge because so much of the time she is considered annoying to Sonic. However, her heart is so pure. The challenge is showing both sides of her in amounts that are not overwhelming.
Tails: He is even more challenging than Amy. I feel like I've watched him grow up, and that is difficult to write for such a young and innocent character. He must act young and yet mature because of the battles he follows Sonic into.

My Writing Style: Very character-driven. Also dialogue heavy. I'm a strong believer that my stories would be meaningless without the passions of the characters, which makes characterization very important to me. The movement is in the characters rather than in what is going on around them. I plot visually initially, rather than in words, which make my stories more like movies to me. Battle scenes that I write are often very specific because I can see in my head exactly what is going on.
