Author has written 20 stories for Half-Life, Halo, Mass Effect, Call of Duty, and Star Wars. Hey, friends. I decided to stop by for nostalgic reasons since it has been ten years since I have been on here. Writing here was the jump-off point for the rest of my creative career, so I wanted to take a trip back down memory lane. Since being that younger man writing mostly Half-Life fics, I have now moved to New York and am currently writing screenplays and directing films. It has been a long road, but at the base of it, there was always FanFiction. So, I'd like to thank this site and those who liked to read my early works. Blessings and keep writing. 12/11/2018 About the author: Hey, my name is Kiefer, a skinny kid living in Warrenton, Virginia. I also go by the name of Chuck, if that's easier. Right now, I am finishing up my associate's degree, so I am going to try to be on here as much as I can. My hobbies include praising my Lord, playing drums and piano, and playing good video games (HL, Halo, CoD ect.). I love writing back stories to video games and I am especially interested in the relationship between Alyx Vance and Gordon Freeman (I'm a sucker for romance.) Hopefully, my fiction will be satisfactory. If not, PLEASE give me some criticism. Thank you ahead of time on reading my stuff. --Kiefer (a.k.a. GMoneyChuck) I. UPDATE 10/8/10: Ok. So it has been brought to my attention that I have not posted a new chapter in almost a whole year. For those following my stories, I am really really sorry about this. It is totally selfish of me to stop a story in the middle. But the reason being is that I am writing an actual book that I hope to get published one day (Spoilers, I never ended up writing a book). So Im kind of focused on that right now. Trust me, I would love to keep writing for Half Life 3, but I also want to start getting my work into the main stream, with a bit more detail. But I really am sorry and I know I promised an epic Half Life story. It is going to be put on hold indefinitely. I apologize. UPDATE 1/27/09: OH, MY GOSH! My 1st anniversary of writing Half Life fan fiction was . . . yesterday. :( Anyways, I thought that was cool. One full year of writing about a scientist named Gordon Freeman. We are tight like that. Thank you guys for keeping up with me and actually liking the stories. :) And hopefully, this next year will be a fruitful one. Update 12/ 11/08: Dear friends! My deepest apologies. It has been a solid month since I have posted anything, not a chapter or word, in my new story. That was because of finals and thanksgiving. happy late thanksgiving, by the way. But, I can say the the new chapter for Half Life 3 is in full swing. I will be going home to Virginia on saterday, and hopefully, I'll have time to focus on this story. My passion for Half Life fan fiction is rekindled. Update 11/09/08: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. Happy 500 Half Life Fan Fics! For some reason . . . that's exciting. Alright! I've wanted to do this for a while. Here is a timeline, including the Half Life games and my stories, showing how they fit together. I thought this would be a fun thing to just look at. Kinda. Here we go: Half Life: Confessions V Half Life, Portal: Dry Dock 7 V Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Beginning Limits V Half Life 2: Episode 1 V Half Life 2: Episode 2, The Lovable Mind of Eli Vance, The Grim Haste, Half Life 2: Journey Scars V Half Life 2: The Final Push V Crowbar Wedding V Enduring Life V Sammy's Day Out 1 and 2 V Half Life 3 V Who knows what I'll write next. (Spoilers, I ended writing a bunch of short films, one that I actually directed which won a few awards and showed at a couple film festivals 12/11/18) Alright. This is probably the best fan made Half Life 2 trailer I have ever seen. It has helped me write my fiction for many months. Here is the URL: |
