Author has written 10 stories for One Tree Hill, and Sherlock. My current TV obsessions are Skins, 24, Spooks, Bones, House, Numb3rs, SPN and BSG. Teenage dramas are also a guilty pleasure of mine. Spunky brunettes are the characters I always go for, although I don't think the hair color is intentional. Everything I needed to know about life I've learned from Cordelia Chase, Lisa Cuddy, Brooke Davis, Blair Waldorf, Summer Roberts, Lorelei Gilmore, Temperance Brennan, Effy Stonem and the likes. My stories are all Brooke-centric for now, but I might become motivated to write Blair, Cook/Effy/Freddy, Dean and Sam with any character I like from any other show, really. I'm NOT, and never will be, a regular updater. I might not have a life, but whatever I do have is incredibly busy, so you shouldn't be surprised if I disappear off the face of the planet for a couple of weeks. OK, so here's my little OTH rant. OTH was the first TV I got on DVDs (purely by chance) and that's what got me to watch other shows to begin with. It's a shame that it's been getting progressively worse by the season and by the episode and I can barely remember a scene, let alone an episode, I liked. Regardless of my shipper preferences, the writing is awful and there has been almost no character development, acting gets crappier. I don't think I can even stomach watching it anymore, and I'm not sure I will bear with it to the finale of the season, let alone stay for season 7. Now as for LP as a couple... I'm never gonna be able to enjoy them together, because their angst is just deeply immoral. The transition to couplehood for them was done three times, and each of those was done breaking other peoples' hearts, all of which were good people who took it with more grace then Lucas or Peyton ever deserved. And while I admit it's not the flaw they have as a couple, it's a flaw in writing, I will never be able to accept that people who broke so many hearts and promises can end up happy together. In my books, there is karma, and it says LP don't deserve each other. On the other hand, each of their breakups was because they didn't work, nobody ever tried to come between them, they just fell apart without that tension of counteracting other people. In my books, this has nothing to do with love. Besides, I hate whining and moping and sap and cheesiness that seems so prominent for the two. So don't for a second fool yourself into thinking that LP in my fanfiction is anything but transitory. Kthnx. |
