We get asked this question a lot.

When we write a story together, we generally tend to roleplay it out. For example, in Vending Chocolate Stripes played Matt and (old)Leather played Mello (And then Stripes pretty much played everyone else, as well).

However, in Punk Drunk Love, we've switched roles. Stripes is actually writing for Mello and (new)Leather is writing for Matt. In case you were wondering, now you know.

We always go back in and fix up anything (If Leather doesn't like something Stripes said, she'll alter it, and the same for the reverse). It's...fun and an amazing collaborative experience.
