Hi guys,

my name is Anni and I am from Germany. Obviously my first language isn't English so don't get upset if my English isn't perfect all the time (whose is anyway). Especially when it comes to differences in British and American English, my stories are certainly not 100% foolproof.

What's new…

I haven't been writing and updating for a long time. I got very sick last year and while trying to recover from that (physically and emotionally), I threw myself into lots of work. As it turns out, that wasn't a clever move because a year later, I had to surrender to a burn-out condition. I am on my way back now and just starting to relearn what it means to have a hobby. I have abandoned my writing for far too long, so if you have read my story before and returned to it now, you are brilliant and I hope that you continue to enjoy it. I won't make any promises on updating frequency or whatever, it just feels nice to spend some time writing again.

Fanfic and I...

I have written all my life starting with 8 or 9... little stories about stuff that troubled me, stuff i found interesting, stories I would adapt from books... until I realised that there was already a huge community out there who did exaxtly this - little did I know of fanfiction though. Since I always loved Harry Potter and grew up with those stories, it seemed natural for me to start in that universe.

I mainly write about abuse themes and obviously, there is a whole Abused Harry Universe. I like exploring the characters in-depth and interpreting them from my perspective. To me it is important that characters have a clear motivation to act. Also, my Severus is never cruel. I like the type of stories where he develops a caring mentoring-type of relationship with Harry. For some, that's very AU, but what can I say, I like it that way. If you do too, feel free to have a look at my stories.

Please Come For Me

The one story that got me going on fanfic. It was my first attempt at writing ever so the initial chapters were somewhat lame. I hope to have fixed that a little by now. I have some OC's on this; the doctors name is Tom - I just realised later that this got many of you confused. It's not Voldemort! :-D sorry I just happen to like the name a lot. This is about domestic abuse and dealing with the consequences. At times, abuse is graphically depicted, but the main idea is to portrait the relationships that evolve. Dumbledore MANIPULATIVE! Severus MENTOR! Petunia NOT AS EVIL AS YOU MIGHT THINK!
