![]() Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter. What I like: I am one of these people still in denial of Sirius's death, not to mention Remus and Tonks's - so you'll find a lot of AU stories in my favourites. I'm also completely crazy about Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny stories, especially the ones that get really, really long. If you know of good ones that don't appear in my favourites, please send them my way. I am currently obsessing over Albus/Scorpius stories. I also read an insane amount of Glee fics, but haven't written any, and don't really plan to. What turns me off (and will make me stop reading your story): - stories that don't bother to spell character's names properly. I mean, "Lilly"? "Albas"? Really? - stories that obviously haven't been proof-read. I get that proof-reading is annoying, it's my least favourite part of writing. But it's got to be done. It's basic courtesy to your readers. - Uni-dimensional evil characters. Even when you don't like someone, there's no need to paint them as plain stupid or with no back story whatsoever. I mean, even Voldemort and Bellatrix have more than one dimension in canon. - holding chapters hostage for reviews. Not only is that completely childish, it's also very unfair to the readers that do review if they have to wait for other complete strangers to write you a review before they can see an update. My stories: I started writing Ginny Weasley and the longest year after finding myself disappointed with most stories that I found about Ginny's 6th year. I figured it might be a sign for me to get a bit active and start writing. The story I'm the happiest with is Great Aunt Bellatrix. It's strange how Scorpius and Teddy's family connection is so little exploited in fanfics, even though it's one of the most fascinating out there. Almost as much as the connection between Tonks and Draco Malfoy... Other than that, I like to take up random challenges and competitions I find in the forums, to work a bit on character development. I will try, as much as I can, to make these one shots fit with GWLY. Hopefully, by the time I'm done, I'll have a full universe to play with! |
