Hey guys, LC Laurent here. Been a while since I've ventured to fanfiction.net, but I can never get away from this place *laughs*

Right now, for all of you that are reading Renaissance, first off, thank you so much for the views and comments, it makes me extremely excited and happy to know that the Twilight fandom is still alive and well. Just like fanfiction.net, I can never get away from this series and all of its kookiness. It's still one of my favorites and a lot of people ask "so, it's your guilty pleasure?" and I say heeeell no, I don't believe in guilty pleasures, I proudly will spout off for hours why I still have love for this series.

Now, back to business, for those of you enjoying my Twilight fanfic Renaissance, I'm updating pretty quickly right now, but eventually it is going to slow down. I'm actually a writer that works on my serious projects the majority of the time, but to make sure that I don't burn out on a particular project, I take a break and write fanfics. It's a nice way to keep the creative juices flowing while not having to stress out on it since it's not actual work and is for fun. I can also breathe and slack off in my writing style while I do fanfic, and that's great too since my usual prose is extremely thick.

That being said, when I go back to actually working on my current novel, I'll be slowing down with the updates on here, but I'll always put an announcement at the top of my profile about that, so don't worry. I'd been working nonstop on my novel since around November and just finished the first act in it, so I'll be taking a break from it for a little while, possibly a month. There's always a chance that I'll start back up on it sooner, thus is the life of a writer: always picking things back up once you have the comfort of it again.

In the mean time though, Renaissance will be the only fanfic I work on and since I try to write almost every day, you can expect the updates to stay frequent. Again, thank you to everyone that's been reading it so far and enjoying it. As I've said, I think it's awesome that this fandom is still around and thriving. For those of you that are interested, I'm now opened for writing commissions. My rate is $1.00 per 100 words, and my starting price is $5.00 since my writing style tends to run long. So when you send in what you'd like to have written, be sure to say how many words you'd like it to be. If I end up going over by less than 100 words then you will NOT be charged for it.

To give you an idea, 500 words is about half a page in Microsoft Word.
