Buffy Summers is still heartbroken, months after Angel has left. Desolate and no longer motivated by the idea of beginning college, she's handed a mission that provides her with the escape that she needs from her life and her grief. As the rumors that a different kind of vampire exist take her to Forks, Washington, she encounters another equally brokenhearted girl with a vampiric ex-boyfriend...

Note: The crossover takes place before BtVS Season 4 and at the beginning of New Moon from the Twilight series. I've decided to do this so that Buffy and Bella are not only the same age, but going through similiar situations. I know this means that the timeline is slightly skewed, but it's really the only way the story I want to write will work out best. Essentially, this story will begin before Buffy begins college and right after Edward leaves Bella. This story will NOT follow S4 and the majority of New Moon, hence it being AU.
