Author has written 3 stories for South Park. Haven't been writing much lately because of my new job. That and it's hard when you think you have decent ideas but then it seems nothing special comes out of them. In a way I believe I'm not really cut out for writing. I suppose I don't instill a powerful picture in the readers' minds. It's amazing how much like drugs reviews can be. When I see that the number has gone up my heart starts fluttering. I would think it's pathetic of me but I'm sure just about everyone feels that way. Why else are we writing these stories? For me, it really is about writing something that people enjoy. Yeah, you could view this as a shameless cry for more reviews, but honestly, don't write them for me unless you really mean it. I don't want pity reviews. Also, as I've said in some of my author's notes at the beginning of the chapter I heartily welcome constructive criticism, tips, ideas, characterization...what have you. So many of you out there have blown people away with your stories. Whatever help you can provide would be invaluable. "Good luck to all those who are trying to write! And please, for the sake of your fans, try to finish your stories...I'll still try to finish mine. :P" Wrote that statement almost a year ago, I sure did a great job of keeping that promise, boo me. But I do still have urges to write so maybe I can add another chapter to one of my stories. Big thanks to everyone who reviewed my stories by the way. |
