Author has written 12 stories for Naruto, and Harry Potter. Author Info Gender: Girl Favorite Anime/Stories: Naruto, Inuyasha, Harry Potter Favorite Pairings: SasuNaru, KibaHina (honestly the cutest pairing I have ever seen! ), Saku/Gaara (I read a really good story with this pairing and have loved it ever since), Saku/Tobi (same reason as the one before), InuKag (don't you just want to pet his ears?), SessKag, Draco/Harry, Nev/Gin (another super cute pairing). Least Favorite Pairings: NaruHina (It just seems like he'd overshadow her, his personality is too strong) SasSaku, Inu/Kikyo (O.O She's dead... necrophilia is not accepted in any place that I know of), Sess/Rin (I see it as a more father/daughter relationship), Kag/Naraku (O.o How did that happen?!), Harry/Ginny (No. Just no.), Tonks/Remus (Actually, I'm fine with the pairing, I just hate how in the book Tonks goes from super strong and cool to a weak little thing that becomes all depressed and gloomy because a guy refuses to date her. I think of the pairing as the thing that ruined her.) I might have added Ron/Hermione to that list since I just can't see it in real life. You tend to marry someone very close to your own IQ and I kinda doubt that Ron is anywhere near Hermione's IQ. Actually, I doubt most people are near her IQ! But it just seems so cute and it is a book, not real life. So I leave it off the list. I'm too used to seeing it. Thing I Love in a Story A good plot line. You can be a good writer, but it doesn't amount to anything without a good plot. Well developed characters. I don't care if they are OOC, but keep their personalities consistant! When they are ice cold in one paragraph and super warm and fluffy in the next with no explination it tends to confuse people and throw them off the story. Also, for goodness sake, don't make them fall madly in love the first time they meet in your story, especially if they've fought for years. For that matter, don't make them in love, engaged, or God forbid married within a week or even a month (or two months) of meeting without a very decent explanation (an arranged marriage, a non human creature fic where it is in their instinct to love and be devoted to their mate, etc). Good grammer and spelling. Don't get me wrong, I'm no grammer Nazi. But when you honestly can't take the time to spell out or type the words properly, it makes the story annoying to read. The same with misspelled words. If there are just one or two, who cares? If there are twenty, it's a nightmare to read. Example of a Bad Sentence: i couldnt belive wat i was hearing. how daer he say tat 2 me? Example of a Good Sentence: I couldn't believe what I was hearing; how could he say that to me after all that we'd been through? Also, please take the time to spell out the word 'you' instead of just typing 'u'. It makes your story look cheap unless you are writing a portion of a story where the characters are texting each other. Description. Everyone loves good description. Tell us what's happening, what the characters are feeling, what people look like! Paint a mental picture for us. |
