Hi, to any who might actually read this!

I am MySedai, which some of you may have recognized as a portmanteau of my name and Aes Sedai, from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, of which I am a huge fan.

I've been writing since I was seven; we had to write a book for my gifted class, which we called Enrichment. I wrote and illustrated a masterpiece called My Eight Horses, and I'm sure my mother has the only hardback copy in a box somewhere.

In high school, I was active in the Writers' Guild, I won a few writing competitions (for money!), and I earned the highest score in my class on the state-mandated writing assessment. Unfortunately, high school was a long time ago, and until fairly recently, I've done very little writing in the interim. I've started a few things, but I am absolutely terrible at actually completing anything.

I've only recently come back to writing. I am a very creative person in general, and I spent too many years trying to force myself to do other, more lucrative things. Now, I'm back into artistic pursuits, and the pay is terrible, but the satisfaction is great.

One of the things I love about writing Fan Fiction is getting the chance to write, and improve my writing. As an added bonus, once I know people are reading, I tend to be more dedicated to finishing the project. I also love getting the feedback, and I love my beta-readers who've really helped me grow as a writer.

I do take requests in my writing. In fact, I love receiving them. A Sea of Bells was a one-shot until somebody asked if I planned to write more. I've been asked to write a sequel when I'm done, which I have every intention of doing, although I'd never once considered it before it was suggested.
