I was born in the summer of 1984. At the age of five I fell fully in love with the written word thanks to a man named Robert Heinlein. I became addicted to books. My mother would read to my brothers and I every night. When I learned to read on my own I devoured everything I could get my hands on. Soon I came to the end of my precious collection of Heinlein works and was struck by grief when I learned that he had passed away a year before I knew he existed. Still though his characters became my guides and it set the stage for the life that was to come. As I grew I realized that I had the power to create characters as well and I began writing.

Unfortunately I have had a streak of bad luck where my writing is concerned and other than a few poems here and there I have yet to complete and publish anything. I had started to give up. That's what led my best friend to talk me into the world of fanfiction and RP. I have always been one to ask, "What's next?" and finally I realized that I could answer it as well. Thus one very late night last summer Random Nonsense Unlimited was born and I began to write again.

My name is Shannon Marie Bond. I answer to either my first or middle name. I am a mother, which makes up 90 of my world. I began writing RP on Champagne Wishes and Cocktail Dreams (If you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it, it's a community on ) I learned a new way to write and it seems to have abated my writer's block. My first actual Fan Fic is on here, Mending Fences, a Degrassi, the Next Generation based story. At that point I had found a new addiction, actually two. I finally had read the whole Twilight series and along with my discovery of this, the fanfiction world, I was hooked.

I have not given up on my original work, in fact I write more now then ever and have started not one but two new books. One a coming of age type story and the other a romance. I hope to have at least one finished within the next year or so. In the mean time I write in other peoples worlds when I find myself at a loss in those that I create. The stories that I like I post on here. I hope that you will read one and like it, I also hope that you will leave a review. I like all feedback, even if it's negative. Constructive criticism can actually be better for a writer than one could imagine.

Update Fall 2011: The first of my completed works has been published on Kindle and Nook! It's a romantic comedy about what happens when the dreamy actor meets the down to earth girl, i.e. every girl's fantasy ;) it can be found by searching Off the Red Carpet on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles websites.
