 Author has written 18 stories for Pong, Metal Slug, Pokémon, Tetris, Doom, and Transformers. This account is no longer actively being managed or maintained. Stories gone AWOL: Pokemon Heroes: Uprising: An unofficial sequel to the movie Pokemon Heroes, possesses a somewhat alternate universe reference but will nevertheless stick with the anime (especially the movies, in particular). This story is currently on hold for an indefinite period of time due to a mess of difficulties. My beta discontinuing his support for the story, my work schedule being tougher than ever, Game Freak constantly pumping out new releases and having to keep up with every consecutive generation/remake (X/Y being released 2 years after Gen 5 and an incoming remake due this fall), and a slowly deteriorating fanbase are among the reasons. It will not be deleted, and I might consider posting the remaining chapters that I've finished over the last two years or so. RIP Pokemon Heroes Uprising, February 2011-August 2014. Will Uprising, or my interest in Pokemon, return? This is something that I cannot provide an answer for at the moment. Ever since September, it's been a very rough two months for me, being laid off from two jobs in such a short timespan. My new job is extremely demanding in regards to energy and spirit, and has an entirely new schedule that prevents me from devoting my time to my interests. However, a small spark has sort of reignited my interest towards the series ever since my brother got Alpha Sapphire - but a brief overview of Uprising has made it very difficult for me to salvage properly - in addition, I do not wish to restart it from scratch due to all the progress I made. My writing style has also changed drastically...meaning that I have doubt in my abilities to write extremely long and descriptive chapters now. With my beta gone for good (for now) and the loss of several friends that I made on this site due to a series of conflicts, I heavily doubt that I will be able to make a full return. The most I will do is make short fics based on the characters I've established for the Uprising universe. Featured Fics (works that I consider to be my best): Metal Slugopedia: A fan-made encyclopedia that composes of both canon and fanmade information from the Metal Slug universe. An Interview with Marco Rossi: Oneshot that details the past and later life of the iconic legendary commando from the Metal Slug games. Fanmade content made by me and MegaAuthor will be included. Pokemon Heroes: Memories and Shadows of Alto Mare: A three-chapter story that acts as the prequel to Pokemon Heroes: Uprising. Pokemon Ranger: Arcanines of War: A single-chapter prequel to Pokemon Heroes: Uprising. Age of the Devil's Sun: A one-chapter story that summarizes the Doom timeline from the eyes of another human soldier. Finished stories (no more future updates, listed in chronological order of release): A Day in Pong Discontinued/never formally released/dead stories: The Subspace Emissary: The Days After: This fic was just bad when I first released it. Okay, it wasn't my first fanfic written, but it certainly was downright unacceptable in regards to quality issues. Metal Slug-The Guerrilla Wars and Metal Slug-Apocalypse Sky: It's official; these stories are dead. After remaining dormant for well over a year and with my full attention on Uprising (at least until that died too), I just don't have the attention, dedication, and effort to continue these in spite of the gigantic amounts of ideas that I had planned for them. Maybe they'll see a revival in the future, but for now, I hereby declare these fics to be killed in action. Perhaps in the future, I'll make more fics based on Metal Slug. I've also deleted some stories because they didn't meet my satisfactions in terms of quality or overall structure. |
