Love is an illusion, a blindfold if you will.
We can't see the person we are attracted to, so we model that person in the way we desire them to be.
Most people show their true colors in the darkness, though, unfortunately.
These colors, this light, this truth, it lights up the darkness and forcefully removes the blindfold.
Then they break your heart, your exposed and pitiful heart.
Why does this happen?
Why do we let this happen?
How can we avoid this?
Is it possible?
Here's an idea: see the light (the truth) first, then allow yourself the privilege of the blindfold (love).
You can see that person perfectly with the blindfold on because you know how they really are in the light.
