I've been knowingly writing fanfiction for a very long time. A very, very long time. So long that I don't care to disclose just how long in a public setting. It's kind of depressing. No, really. It is. You'd probably start to cry for me and get distracted by how pathetic I am for coming back to this again and not even read my stories so, we're just going to bypass that whole mess right now and leave it at I've been writing fanfiction a long time.

Though this is really mostly for myself - to get organized, start fresh, and to get some ideas down that have been plaguing me forever, I hope you enjoy my fics (old and new, for whatever reasons you may enjoy them!) and if you recognize a fic, it's me! Only Time - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 11/16/01] lots of inconsistencies and flat-out non-facts. It was a good idea but I wish I had executed it better. GT wasn't exactly readily available back then and I pretty much went on rumors and summaries. That's not recommended by me, by the way. Inspired by Only Time by Enya

METALOCALYPSE

Unacquitted Love - this is my very first Dethfic and it was sort of a labor of love. My friend said that this reads like you're watching an episode of the show and that was wonderful to hear so hopefully you guys all like, too. Oh, and I know that it's "unrequited love" but...it's Toki and Nathan. I really have no reasoning beyond that.

A Christmas Blessing - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 12/04/00] this is a little out of character Jessie-wise to me. I like any interaction between Jessie and Miyamoto so for that reason I like this fic - for every other reason, I think it's not one of my best.

Attached at the Wrist - this was written for arashi wolf princess for her birthday! Considering I wrote it in about two days, I'm pretty pleased with it. It's rated M but that's probably a bit of an over-statement on my part. Better safe than sorry!

Because You Loved Me - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 10/03/00] this one was a hot mess and I blame the song that inspired me for that fact. I still hate the "POV" thing but I honestly couldn't think of any other way to go about doing it other than keeping that aspect of the fic intact. I like the general underlying plot(s?) of this but back then I didn't really have the attention span for long fics or to really sit down and make them all they could be. Jessie is oddly out of character in this fic. Inspired by Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion

Benefits - I had the random idea for this a while ago and I finally decided to sit down and write the thing. The tense just came out that way and the POV just came out as James. I really don't write from his POV very often and I write in that tense even less but the muse took over, what can I say? It took every fiber of my being to keep this unrequited - and even then I threw everybody a bone so obviously this is not my forté.

Closet Cases - I don't really know where this came from or why I write James in this POV now or why I don't use names when I go this route. I thought this would be funny and smuttier than it actually came out. I haven't really decided if the references to Jessie in this are Rocketshippy or James just being a jealous bestie.

James's Secret - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 10/03/00] this probably would have been best ended when the Pokemon originally got Jessie and James together and it was sweet and the end. Why I decided otherwise I do not know. As a fun note, I intentionally left in "Misty yelled" for just about every time she spoke because, well...she yells a lot and it amused me.

Like the Rose - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 11/20/00] this was originally a song fic set to the song it's named after but the fic revolved way too much around Jessie having heard the song on the radio or some stupid thing so I took that out. I like this idea but I don't think I executed it very well. I may try my hand at another "Jessie's diary" fic but we'll see! Inspired by Like the Rose by B*Witched

One Eye Open - this idea came to me one day and I screwed around with it in my head too long and I don't think it came out like I wanted it to. Maybe I'll add to this or rewrite it if I decide it doesn't live up to what I wanted it to, maybe not. Inspired by Girl With One Eye by Florence and the Machine

She's Baaaack! - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 11/20/00] this is a hot mess; I could talk smack about this fic all the live-long day. It's violent and OOC. It's a great fic if you hate Jessibelle, that's about all I can say.

Speak Now - this inspiration is such a Jessie vs. Jessibelle song, I don't know why I never saw it before. I've written a lot of fics about Jessibelle/that are callbacks to Holy Matrimony! perhaps one of my favorite shippy episodes ever but wow, have you seen them? They don't do it justice. So I consider this my homage to Holy Matrimony! Inspired and lyrics by Speak Now by Taylor Swift

To Mew Mountain - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 11/20/00] I like the idea of this fic but it wasn't executed well. This is vaguely reminiscent of A Christmas Blessing but I like that fic better for a few reasons. At the end of the day, I'm sort of a sucker for Jessie and Miyamoto's relationship.

GREATEST LOSS series

The Greatest Loss - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 12/08/00] this is vaguely reminiscent of One Eye Open in that the theme is Team Rocket is ruining Jessie. This one is pretty short (unlike its sequel) so I don't have much to say about it other than the fact that I wish I could write Jessie as this much of a bitch all the time.

The Greatest Loss II: The Greater Loss - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 01/27/01] obviously did not edit the error that "greatest" is worse than "greater" but obviously around this time I wasn't very good at naming fics. I'm still not but if you ever see "II" in a recent fic name, I want you to put me out of my misery. I feel like you see what's coming from a mile away and oh, hey sex scene. That having been said, this is one of the few Rocket fics where *SPOILER ALERT* they don't end up together living happily ever after. Did I throw Rocketshipping in your face anyway? Absolutely.

HEART ATTACK trilogy

Heart Attack - this fic was the result of finding Professor Sycamore to be a delight in the games and listening to the song that inspired this way too much. I really, really enjoyed writing Jessie and Sycamore together and attempting to make their past seem plausible and canon. Inspired by Heart Attack by Demi Lovato

Here to There - I wanted to write more JessiexSycamore but my pathetic Rocketshipper heart wouldn't let me unless I did something drastic. I'm very proud of this one and, for a second story in a trilogy, it actually isn't pointless junk just to get to the final part. It does include some of the saddest work I've ever written, though. HOLIDAY trilogy

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 12/04/01] this is short and sweet so I don't have much to say about it. This is the first of a "trilogy" of sorts and looking back, I wish I hadn't done that because this stands alone as a sweet little fic all by itself.

If Only Tears Could Bring You Back - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 12/13/01] this is the middle sibling fic stuck in between Holly Jolly Christmas and Let the Ball Drop used only as a plot device for maximum angst that results in maximum fluff. Inspired by If Only Tears Could Bring You Back by Midnight Sons

Let the Ball Drop - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 12/17/01] this is the final part of the Holiday Trilogy. I like Butch and Cassidy's random part in this and I don't know why. Probably because they're the ones most in-character (possibly next to Meowth) in the entire series.

TRUE TEST OF LOVE series

The True Test of Love - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 11/22/00] I have no words for this. It's very special in that it was my first fic (!!!) and also very special in that it reads like an episode of Degrassi where people flip out and act like drama queens for the hell of it. This was also cut up into different "parts"; however, these parts were about a paragraph long and all stuck together in the same document/fic (not put into different chapters like now requires) so for that reason it might read a little choppy in places. That's the least of this fic's problems. This is followed by True Test of Love II which is worse yet (oh, it's possible!)

The True Test of Love II: The Twerpy Menace - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 12/08/00] yes, that is the real name as when I was writing this Phantom Menace was all the rage. That would explain why 2010 is referenced as being ten years in the future. I'm very old. Giving their daughters such distinct personalities is cliché but I was fourteen and that was how I rolled. I don't know where the Electra complex situation in this fic arose from, I really don't. If that isn't enough to pique your interest, I can't say anything that will!

SHAKE IT UP!

Sparkly Baby - my very first SIU! fic! Gunther and Tinka are the only reasons I watch the show and I equate them to a younger, foreign Team Rocket. That having been said, yes. I do sort of ship them. This fic has nothing questionable that hasn't already been mentioned on the show.

TENCHI MUYO

Spaces in Time - [ORIGINAL UPLOAD DATE: 11/17/01] I love this fic and may or may not write a sequel to it as a lot of the reviews requested I do. Obviously this was written before Tenchi GPX or even Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-Ohki (both of which I own but haven't watched) and so if I do write a sequel, I'll pretend neither of those things existed (as I like to do with Tenchi in Tokyo.)
