First of all, for anyone who has read, commented, and/or patiently awaited updates on Simple Gifts: (another) HUGE THANK YOU. I still have a lot (as in notebooks-full) of Simple Gifts notes including storylines, vignettes, nearly-written chapters awaiting their place in the timeline, and fluffy flashbacks looking for an excuse to be remembered. So I really believe the best is yet to come. I'm still really excited to get through to the end of the plotted arc (Christmas 2011)- I've always personally wanted to see where Luke ends up as a grown-up played out. So, yes, I'm going to finish Simple Gifts someday. Really!

I'm a long-time shipper of couples including Beth/Lujack, Starbuck/Apollo, Janeway/Chakotay, Xena/Gabrielle, Benson/Stabler, Otalia, Tiva, and McAbby. I've enjoyed a lot of fics in most of those fandoms, but have written (so far) only for my original OTP, LuRe (Luke Snyder/Reid Oliver) and for my second big crush, McDanno (though I have a couple of Tiva ideas and one Kurtofsky plot bunny that just won't go away!).

I'm a firm believer that romance is as much between the ears as between the legs, so I love character interactions (not just between the protagonists), inner monologues, fluff, innuendo, and humor. I'm also obsessed with weaving together canonical trivia with real-life current events and settings, and I especially love a good backstory. Hopefully that comes across in my stories.
