ProfMorbius is a citizen of the United States who developed a strong interest in science fiction after watching the great classic Forbidden Planet, from which he draws his pen name.

Although ProfMorbius enjoys writting, he suffers from chronic anxiety and low self-esteem. This manifests as a strong reluctance to show people his work after writing it, as well as a slight tendency to write about himself in the third person.

ProfMorbius is attempting to overcome his anxiety by publishing some of the fanfic he finds time to write while not as his job. He'd like to become a real writer and publish his own original fiction.
