Hi all.

Well this is me.

Nothing special, just me, a real mum to one 5year old who thinks he's at least 18 and one new baby. Wife to my long suffering hubby, and a surrogate mum to 18 bods ranging from age 23 upto 54. Based in Staffordshire UK.

I used to write as a child, mainly fantasy involving dragons, aliens and magic. My spelling is appalling (if's its not on spell checker then it usually stays wrong) but my imagination is wild and sometimes a little warped.

It's only since Aug 09 my head has refilled with Characters that are banging on the walls to come out one way or another, for which i have The Delectable Anglekitty101 and the old proffessorherb to thank (or blame) for egging me on and listening to my drivel about who does what!

My favourite TV influences are Torchwood with the delectable Jack, Yummy Ianto and the oh so nice Captain John...(pray for a Captain sandwich with Ianto filling!)

Doctor Who.. although i grew up with Tom Baker as the Doctor, David Tennent is even better!

Battlestar Galactica is another favourite although it has to be the new version.. the 80's one is a little twee and usually makes me want to stick my fingers down my throat!

However when it comes to reading material. Terry Prattchet is lord and master.

Really have difficulty with Hearts and Flowers and soppy stuff. Beleive that a good story needs to be beleiveable even if it is AU. So Research is always necessary- can take you down a different path too. A good story is a mix of truths and a splattering of make beleive. A story needs to flow, and not contradict itself, and no matter how outrageous it is, written well it can be beleiveable.

I'm open to all criticism's and pleas not to write any more.
