I feel bad about that, because you're loyal and dedicated and are always eagerly waiting for an update even if it is months later, and I almost never thank you guys.

Story Information

Butterflies, the Beautiful Kind SEQUEL {BBC Sherlock}
Status: indefinite hiatus
AN: Enough people have asked me about this (and by enough I mean, like three) that I've decided to add this to my Story Information section. There is going to be another "book" to my first story. And it's going to take place during the first season of Sherlock. I just haven't had the time to really flesh it out. I've got the ideas and the main points, but I'd like it to be a real story which is going to take a lot more time and effort on my part. Right now, I'm working on a PJO story and would like to finish that one before starting this one because this story is something that needs my undivided attention to write. I have finally decided on a title: My Walls Stood Tall, Painted Blue. (And, yes, that's another lyric from "Everything has Changed" by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran; I'm sticking with this theme.) So be on the lookout for a story with that name. I don't know when I'll be able to post it because I will be studying abroad to China in the fall. However, like I said, I do still plan on writing it and posting it. That is a fact and will not change no matter how much time goes by. I hope you will continue to be patient with me. Thank you.

Update 1.9.16: I still plan on writing this sequel, but I'm having trouble figuring out just where Elizabeth will fit into the BBC Sherlock universe. So, the posting of this will probably be delayed even more. I know, not something you want to hear, but I'm trying really hard to think through my stories before posting them, because I've done that too many times and my stories have turned out not great (hence all the re-writes of things I do). Also, I had an epiphany today about not making things too complicated, and that sometimes sticking to simple is best. So, I hope you'll be patient with me as I figure out this story. Thanks!

Update 7.10.2020: I rarely use FF anymore. The current fandom I'm in/writing for isn't listed here, so I only visit to use their doc uploader. It does the formatting for me. Some small part of me would like to write the sequels I had planned but another part knows it's unlikely to happen. I'm a different person now.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: Out of the Light {PJO}
Status: indefinite hiatus
AN: For anyone who wants to know, I lost my muse a long, long time ago for it and haven't been able to find it. I would like to continue it, but have been thinking on and off about putting it up for adoption. Not sure what I'm going to do just yet. I might just scrap the whole series and try again, only post it when it's all finished, or close to it, anyway.

Cold Comfort {Night World}
Status: abandoned
AN: All right, so college has officially begun, so I'll be mostly focusing on that for right now. If I'm being honest, that last massive chapter wore me out so much so, I don't feel like writing it right now. And, sadly, I don't know how long it'll take for me to get back to wanting to writing it again. I also still need to work out a lot of things and come to a conclusion for the story. My writing style is such that I try not to force things too much, which include plot points. I like things to flow naturally, right now I'm off balance because I'm still adjusting to my new class schedule and classwork. All I ask is that you be patient with me, and stick with me. I will finish this story, it might just take a few months longer than you expected. I love you guys, my readers, and I love writing, but right now school is my main priority.

Update 12.12.14: On winter break now, and I'm going to finish this at some point, I promise. I just think I've lost my muse and I don't know how I want to end it either. I'd really like to figure out what my next step is before I continue to write it, so right now I'm waiting to see if I can figure out an end. I think about it periodically, about endings and possibilities, but thus far, nothing solid has really popped up. And I apologize for this. But I hope you'll stick with me until the end (of the line), because I will finish it. I just don't know when that will be. I haven't given up on this story, I've just put it on hold for right now.

Update 1.8.16:Wow, can't believe it's been a little over a year now since I posted the last chapter. I feel bad that so many are waiting and not getting anything (if there are even people still waiting), but I've decided I'm probably going to re-write this. I'm possibly thinking about taking down my old stories that involve Emerald and Storm, but we'll see. It's a strong possibility. If anyone does read this, I just thought I'd let you know. I just don't like my writing at all. And I've invented completely new OCs, so they'll have the same names and kind of the same backgrounds, but they're going to be very different from the ones in this story and my first story. Anyway, yeah, so I am, unfortunately, not going to be finishing this story.

Update 7.10.2020: So I started rewriting it (kinda). I rewrote the first fic. Haven't gotten passed it yet. The rewrite is on an indefinite hiatus. Just wanted to confirm that I will not be finishing this story. But I will leave it up for posterity's sake. Thanks to all who read and commented!

Dark Horse {Twilight}

AN: All right, so college has officially begun, so I'll be mostly focusing on that for right now. Ideas are still flowing and I've still got major plot written down, but I need to flesh them out, actually write them, and then find events and filler to lead into them. Which is the problem I'm having with this next chapter. I have an idea but I'm currently trying to figure out how to lead into it and what's going to happen after it as well as the consequences of it. At this point I feel like Alice and Jasper's relationship has come to a halting stand-still. While that's not the main focus of the story, I've already posted 20 chapters and I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere with the main plot or the sub-plot. I'm still trying to figure out a way to smoothly transition into more intimacy between them as well as progress over-arching danger I presented in the first chapter. I also still need an ending. My writing style is such that I try not to force things too much, which include plot points. I like things to flow naturally, right now I'm off balance because I'm still adjusting to my new class schedule and classwork. All I ask is that you be patient with me, and stick with me. Update 10.3.14: I didn't want to admit it, if anyone even checks/reads this, but I think I've lost my muse for this story. I didn't want to write it down, because I felt it too final, but I'm admitting it now. I'm not admitting defeat, however. I am going to finish this story one way or another. This story has been a work in progress for years now, because I've started it over three times, as I said in my author's note of the first chapter.

I've always wanted to write a story about Alice and Jasper where they were the stars, but I think I was and have been going about the wrong way this whole time. The first was just basically a carbon copy of Twilight with Edward and Bella's names replaced with Alice and Jasper. My second one had a bit more success, even going so far as to have a sequel, but I just didn't like the style or the plot ideas for it. There was plot holes and it just kind of felt all wrong. This third time around, I had a great idea, but executed it poorly. The story's too slow and all my ideas are just going to bog it down and make it into one of those TL;DR kinds of stories. Great writers can get away with that, currently I'm just a good writer and still learning.

I don't know why I've had so much trouble with this story. I want to write this, though. All these obstacles have made me want to write it even more now than ever. Now, the deleting part isn't a definitive decision, but I'm swinging toward it the more and more I write this. The plot is going to be the same, but the writing is going to better thought out and carefully crafted before I post any of it. I'm not going to fly by the seat of my pants anymore, which I've found really hinders my writing. This doesn't mean I'm going to write the whole thing and then post, it just means I'm going to make sure I know what's going to happen in each chapter before I write it.

So, yeah, there it is, all laid out for you. I guess third time, is indeed, not the charm. Not this time, anyway.

Update 12.12.14: On winter break now, but I'm not sure that you'll see much action from me regarding this story and it's possible re-write. I haven't give up on trying to write a story for Alice and Jasper, still, but right now I've just lost my muse for it all together. I've written the first chapter to the rewrite, but I'm trying this new idea I got, which might just be too complicated to actually write with. So, I have to write a few more chapters to see if my idea will work and also to make sure that I don't update on a bi-monthly basis, because these chapters are going to take me much longer to write until I get the hang of it.

I'm considering writing the whole thing out before posting it, so you might not be hearing from me in this area for a long time. That's probably hard to hear, I know, and I'd explain why, but I don't want to spoil the idea. It's a really cool idea, if it works, I think, so I'd really like to keep it a surprise for my lovely readers. So, yeah, that's about it, sorry I don't have more for you.

Update 7.10.2020: Officially abandoned. I would still like to write something like it. But I'm a different person now, and older me kind of knows that that's a highly unlikely possibility. (But who knows, with Midnight Sun being released, it make reignite that spark.)

I Need Another Story {PJO/HOO}
Status: Finished!
Update 2.13.17: As you know, I recently started my last semester for senior year at my college. So, I'll be busy. That means less updates, but this is my top priority story, so they won't take forever (hopefully). Unfortunately, or fortunately(?), I hit a bit of writer's block just as the semester started. I'm currently trying to hammer out the next chapter, so we'll see how this goes. I'm so used to 12-13 page chapters, I feel inadequate when I only get out like 7-8! That's really besides the point, though. I lost track of where I want this story to go...hopefully, it'll work out like it did with my first Tori/Luke story and just happen as I'm writing, but I'm doubtful. This story's plot is much more intricate and complicated. We'll see. For now, hang tight and I'll get this next chapter to you as soon as I can. Thanks, guys.

Update 7.10.2020: Status says it all! Took me two years, but I got it finished! Thanks to all who stuck with me through all the ups and downs, and especially that 6 month hiatus.

Status: Might be updated
Update 2.13.17: So, there was a brief moment where I thought I'd be able to write both my PJO/HOO story and this one, but as you can tell, that didn't happen. I wouldn't say it's on a haitus, I'm just putting it on the back-burner for now. I may update occasionally, but for right now, it's not my priority. I just started school again (last semester of senior year, yikes!), so I'll be busy with that, and then my PJO/HOO story, so this one won't get a whole lot of attention. I've also hit a bit of a writer's block. Hopefully, I can write for this story every now and again, though.

Updated 7.10.2020: Unsure about this one. I'd still like to write it. But my muse for it is being wishy-washy. I have ideas of where I was gonna go and would still like to write it. But I'm in different fandoms right now and I don't know if I'll ever come back to this one. Sorry and thanks to those who stuck with me through all the changes and rewrites and struggles.

Figured out why my links were being weird. Turns out FF has blacklisted a bunch of other websites to prevent against spam. While I understand why, it means I can't link anything but four of the major social network sites. So, for now, I don't have the links for my HetaOni story or It's the Perfect Story.
