Hi! I'm a seventeen-year-old girl who is currently enrolled in both high school and community college.

I love to dance, draw, and - of course - read and write.

I hope to write a book someday, but for now I'm content with this.

I am in recovery from an eating disorder and self-harm; for those of you who apply 'recovery' only to alcohol or drugs, I assure you it is a common term in relation to eating disorders, even if not so much for self-harm.

For any and all of you who struggle with eating disorders, suicidality, self-harm, co-dependency, drugs, and/or alcohol (I have experience with all of it), and anything else that you may be struggling with, I am always open to private messaging. If that's not the thing for you (talking to a stranger, that is), then that's totally okay. My only hope/advice for you is: tell someone. It doesn't have to be an adult, or a parent, or anyone that can long-term get you the help you need (although if you're willing to do that, then that's just absolutely AMAZING); it can be a friend, or an acquaintance, or (again) a stranger. I just know that in my darkest times, I had a friend who saved my life many of those times without even knowing it, just by being there.

Now, I'm in a much better - and much HAPPIER - place than I used to be, and I love it. Someone once said to me, "I hate to see you hating yourself", and it hit me really hard. Well, now, I can confidently say that "I love loving myself!"

It's an amazing place to be.
