![]() Author has written 1 story for Final Fantasy VII. —is 30. In Progress: The rewrite of Legacy of a Madman. This story is a beast of an epic, something that has been in the back of my mind ever since the first time I completed Final Fantasy VII. The ending held so much possibility, and the ache to give the story a proper "after" has stayed with me over the years. I began writing it well before the movie and pre/sequels, so most of the canon stays true to the original game. Excluding the use of Denzel, there is no Deepground, no Angeal nor Genesis, none of the (in my opinion) silly additions and tweaks to the canon. Given the scope of the story, there are a handful of OC's, but they are a reflection of the world setting; as lushly as I try to paint the world of VII and the cultures and history, I cannot leave out the people. I hope that each, however small, addition fits neatly into the fabric of VII. 5/19/2010 — I am working on Legacy when I have the inspiration to, but otherwise has suspended fanfiction writing to put more energy into finish novel projects. 4/15/2012 — Writing, writing, writing. 8/04/2013 — Life is thieving away all of my quiet writing time. 5/26/2014 — This project has cursed my systems to multiple crashes over the years. This was the most recent. At least I wised up and started backing up on flash drives. 6/18/2015 — The announcement for the remake of FFVII has re-sparked my muse. I will finish this impossible story. Writing a novel is actually searching for victims. Maybe this is why we read, and why in moments of darkness All painting, but also all literature, is merely a process And sometimes remembering will lead to a story, The ending has to fit. The ending has to matter, We are, as a species, addicted to story. Writing is like hunting. There are brutally cold afternoons |
