![]() Author has written 7 stories for NCIS, CSI: New York, Doctor Who, Newsies, Wizards of Waverly Place, Hunger Games, Star Trek: 2009, and Harry Potter. Yea so this morning my band teacher got batteries for his lightsabers(yes lightsabers, plural!) and some of us got to have a little lightsaber duel with him. it was so much fun!! goes to show, 1. band kids have no real lives 2. so does our director 3. lightsabers are AMAZING. plus, it gave me an idea for a video to post on youtube. yay. allright enough about that, im gonna tell u a little about me. i live in Arizona, i'm a Cardnials fan (allways have been, gotta support the home team. but even more so after their super bowl debut in which they lost. but that was a technicallity, Steelers shouldn't have won. that last touch down was bogus. no offense Steelers fans.), i love random facts about sports or anything in general, as the name suggests i'm a HUGE NCIS fan and in band (marching. not too big on concert though. but hey, either way i still get to go to Disneyland). oh i also am a big reader of fan fictions, love ACDC, Kansas, any of the older more rockin bands(Beatles included), and well thats pretty much it. i would put more, but i can't think of any thing and i don't want too much info out there. DISNEYLAND is EPIC! Expessically when you go in a group of nine people who ride the awsome rides and shout "Barrel Roll" on Star Tours. YES!! RANDOM SPORTS FACTS: (yes i have to include these, they are kinda cool. and might suprise u.) 1. During one year of WWII the Cardnials and the Steelers combined to make up for the lack of players who left to go fight. The team was called the "Card-Pitt". (I'm not kidding, look it up if you don't belive me.)(Oh the irony, the Cards get to their first super bowl and it's vs the Steelers. LOL) 2. The Arizona Cardnials originated in Chicago. 3. The Cardnials, bad as they might be, are the oldest contiuously run team in the NFL. They were founded in 1898. Their original name, the Morgan Athletic Club. (disbanded in 1906 due to lack of local competiton, but reformed in 1913.) 4. The Yankees have won 27 world series titles. the most of any team in the MLB. Second is (i'm not sure at this point, google here I come) 5. Super Bowl 43 was the first Championship game the Cardnials had been to since 1947 and also their only Championship. Almost 20 years before the first Super Bowl happened. 6. The 1994-95 baseball strike was the first time the World Series wasn't played in almost 90 years. 7. Only three MLB teams have not won a pennant, the Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, and Seattle Mariners. 8. New York has had 14 "Subway Series" between the Yankees, Mets and former Brooklyn Dodgers in N.Y. (now L.A. Dodgers) If you wish you went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, then copy and paste this into your profile and add your name to the list with you house of choice: FiyeroTiggular93 - Slytherin, Weirder Than You - Ravenclaw, Summer Sweetheart - Hufflepuff, Kataang2- Gryffindor, MoonlightSpirit-Gryffindor,Kagome-Loves-Kouga Gryffindor, - Ravenclaw, RipredIsAwesome, Mewtrainer-Ravenclaw, Pikana- Slytherine, xEmila - Ravenclaw, Jeanne Revoir - Slytherin, NCIS Band Geek- Gryffindor Join the marching band, join us... we don't bite! Well, most of the time, but we're very loyal. Unless you betray us, then you die. my recent obessions: anything written by John Williams, SG-1, Star Trek: TNG, CSI:NY, Facebook, music in general, my marching band, Santa Clara Vanguard 1989, Youtube, my new Indiana Jones fedora, Tron, writing a story or stories, hating weeds I apologize to readers of both my stories, Wicked and Renegade. I just haven't been working on them like I should be, for one life has gotten in the way. Two, writing some of the Characters for the respective stories is tricky... you have no idea how much trouble I have with Tony and Ziva's banter. And then my muses like to dart out at random moments and leave for some time or have me start on another story. I've got at least 3 in the works that are actually on the computer being written in no real order and another half dozen or so floating around my head not being written down. So, top that with my classes and life in general... and, well it's not fun for me to try to write my personal stories or my fanfiction with the way my brain works. So as soon as I work out more on both stories, they will be updated on a much more regular basis. But as of right now, even though I have a vague idea of where I want each to go, they are on indefinate hiatus. Scouts honor (holds up three fingers, Girl Scout style) they will be updated by the end of Drum Corps season, which is about Mid- August, August 11th this year. By the way, for those of you who are familiar with DCI, Go Academy!! Left of Spring is awesome and is definitely top 10 material in my opinion... Anyways, both stories will have updates and you all can stop hating me. Okay, Wicked and Renegade are officially on indefinite hiatus, and when I do get back to them there will likely be massive rewrites of both (as I don't recall exactly where I was going them and they are 2 years old, and my writing has changed significantly in that time.) Now as to COS, BWR, and TUS, those will have more regular updates. I've got more on BWR than any of my others, and I'm plotting out my next moves for COS and TUS. So don't panic, I will have more for you. Usual Suspects will likely turn into a whole verse, as I've got some prequel's (one for each captain and their ship) in mind and I quite enjoy writing it. BWR is liable to be a trilogy and who knows where COS will end up (I don't know where my brain will go with that). I've got a lot going on right now, so my updates will be rather irregular, but if you want to you can follow me on my tumblr (Academy13) http:/// and I've started posting a series of shorts with Doctor Who characters at Hogwarts. There's only two so far (titled 'More than one type of Kryptonite' and 'Trouble isn't just the Doctor's middle name...'), but I've been writing them as inspiration strikes. Also, I admin on a Facebook page called 'Oi Watch It Spaceman, Oi Watch It Earthgirl' as "1909BariClone", check us out if you'd like we aren't just a Doctor Who fan page... Dear god, I can't believe I was witness to the first Chicago Cubs World Series victory in 108 years AND their first televised series that that. When they last won in 1908, radio was in its infancy and TV didn't exist yet. And their last appearance in 1945 would be two years before the MLB started televising games. On November 3 2016 they ended the longest championship drought in professional North American sports... the Arizona Cardnials, ironically originally from Chicago, now hold the record. 69 years, only one year longer than the Indians, who haven't won a championship since 1948. |
