Author has written 3 stories for Battlestar Galactica: 2003.

Hello! I am a professor at a major, research-oriented American university, and the author of numerous books and articles of the serious variety. A busy lecture schedule keeps me hopping all over the world, and my research often takes me to countries that are barely familiar with the telephone, never mind the internet. This occasioned the long hiatus in December '09/January '10, and the interruptions that have subsequently interrupted the story at various times. This story is a recreational activity, which was inspired by the superb acting on display throughout the BSG series. My objective is first to script a tale that moves coherently from the Colony long decades before the war to the fleet's arrival at earth, but without resort to deus ex machina devices. This will involve writing a considerable amount of back story, much although by no means all of it from a counterintelligence perspective. I hope to remain true to the personalties of the principal characters as we see them on the screen, while adding new characters to extend the range of possible narrative points of view and plug what I saw as critical structural gaps in the story. Finally, I wish to stress that this is an AU story that actually rests on hints scattered throughout BSG, which Ronald Moore and David Eick might have used to take their tale in a very different direction. They drove the story to a particular ending, but they left us a lot of room to reimagine this magnificent caravan across the heavens in other ways. My thanks to them both, and to everyone involved in a production that continues to bring this author a great entertainment experience.

One problem: She's a model Six Cylon who was found by the Terrans ten years earlier. Adama, Roslin, and the others discover that choices have consequences.
