UPDATE 7/16/2010: spn_j2_bigbang is over -- I completed the fic at around 33,500 words. I'm also participating in the deancasbigbang, and various other Supernatural related side projects on Livejournal. Currently, I'm re-reading through Amicus and will update the story with no set schedule in mind.

Note: I've just re-watched Sherlock Holmes. Expect more stories on the following topics:

(1) What did Holmes do with Watson's rugby ball?
(2) "You aren't human!"
(3) Sherlock's unreasonable attachment to the doctor's clothing.
(4) A night at the opera -- Don Giovanni.
(5) The uncomfortable discussion announcing Watson's plans for an engagement.
(6) "You means us." ... "You means you."

Several what-if situations, some explanations to implied characteristics briefly touched on in the movie, and a few AU alterations on particular scenes.

To be entirely clear, I am primarily a slash writer, but I respect the sanctity of the Holmes/Watson friendship and the interesting dynamic between them. Familial companionship is noted. Slash will be manipulated. (It's fun to do both.) Don't worry, I'll post warnings.

A chaptered fic is in the works, but needs some planning. Tentative title: Counterpoint.
