Hello there! A few things about me:

- The name is Meaning Scene, but you can call me Ems. :)
- I've been an on/off member of fanfiction.net since I was fourteen years old (which is now nine years ago). I've now settled into my career choice (early childhood development, which is essentially a daycare teacher) so I feel much older than I am. I suppose this is natural as I've watched a child I cared for at infancy enter kindergarten this year. A scary, scary thing, that.
- I love Jonas Brothers! I don't have a favorite out of the brothers (because, let's face it, it's impossible to choose) but my favorite pairing out of JONAS (the television show) is Kacy. I dabble in others though, so keep your eye out.
- I also love the Vampire Diaries; I realize that it's the opposite end of the spectrum... but I like what I like, and, let's face it, Paul Wesley is DREAM-y!
- I am obsessed with music; it inspires a lot of my writing.
- I am not NEARLY as emo as my stories might suggest. I'm actually just a fun-loving twenty-something who likes to jump rope and is addicted to blackberry sangria, so I have no idea where the angst comes from. Maybe from my unfulfilled teenage years, but who knows?
- I am OPEN to any suggestions/ideas/prompts you want to share with me. I may not get to write them right away (who knew instructing two year old's required a lesson plan?) but I will certainly try my best.

All in all, I'm just here to have fun and share what I love with other people just as passionate as myself. Thanks for reading!

My Stories:
Shall We Dance? I'm addicted to one-shots, so this collection is really exciting for me! It will be a bunch of one-shots all centered around the boys and ladies of JONAS dancing. I'll update it as inspiration hits, so if you have any suggestions, drop me a line!

Get It Right: My newest addition, inspired by "Glimmer" by Aqualung. I put my iPod on shuffle, determined to write a story based off the first song that came up, and this is what I got! A NickxMacy story that takes place over twelve months. It should only be three parts, and the first is posted as of 1/31; the other two parts are more in depth and will be longer than the first. Please review!

It Never Takes Too Long: My first chaptered story! Inspired by a prompt on Pure Horace Mantis, the Sara Bareilles challenge. I love when I get to mix music with writing. As of 1/31, the story is mostly written, but I'm editing heavily to make sure it's the best it can possibly be. Thank you to everyone who has reviewed/favorited/alerted this story!

Wish You Were Here: A KevinxMacy one-shot, conceived after listening to a LOT of Owl City's "Vanilla Twilight" (LOVE that song). Macy's stuck at home while Stella goes with the boys on their nationwide summer tour. Kevin is the only one who keeps contact, in the sweetest of ways...

No Way Of Knowing: A follow up to "Congratulations", written from Macy's perspective. It is also heavily inspired by "Garden of Love" by Aqualung, one of my favorite bands.

Congratulations: This story was inspired by the song "Congratulations" by Blue October feat. Imogen Heap. It is slightly JoexMacy, with a twist. I don't think anything I've written has broken my heart this much before.

Let's Pretend: Other than the Jonas Brothers, I'm a HUGE Jason Castro fan. His latest single, "Let's Just Fall In Love Again", has been on repeat in my apartment, and I knew I wanted to write a story about it. This JoexStella one-shot is more based on a single lyric of the song than the whole song; it's the shortest one-shot I've written EVER, but one of the most fun pieces I can remember.

Wordplay: The latest addition I've made since re-registering, it's also my first KevinxMacy. Surprisingly, it's NOT based off the Jason Mraz song. Just a fun little fluffy one-shot.

Just Your Average JONAS: As of January 21st, 2010, I have removed this story from fanfiction.net. It was the first one I ever posted and got good reading stats, but I just didn't feel like keeping it up here anymore. Besides, as it was written for a friend, I'm going to keep it personal for her. Thank you everyone for understanding!
