![]() Author has written 30 stories for Leverage, Princess Bride, Supernatural, Walking Dead, Avengers, and Lost Girl. You know, despite the occasional nigh-uncontrollable urge to fanfic, I've always been able to resist until now. Damn Leverage. To paraphrase (and badly mangle) Sophie's observation: These guys are just waaay too much fun to not steal. In a non-litigious way, of course. Okay, so the reason I'm here is because story, the concept and the experience, fascinates me. I'm here to explore writing more than I have for a while, to play with (and analyse) stories and characters that have already been sketched out, and which I enjoy. So far, that seems to be taking the form of Leverage fanfic (well, and The Princess Bride, now, obviously), and SPN meta, which is on my lj. So far, I haven't felt the need to meta about Leverage, or fic about SPN, which is an interesting meta right there... Anyway. That's how it's happening right now, although it could change. You just Never Know. Afterall, I never thought I'd fanfic, and here I am... So, yeah, I'm interested in the flow and structure of story, and very much in the characterization/voice of the characters. Feedback and criticism are very welcomed – although if you're inclined to get in conversations about such things, my lj might be the better place to chat. Either way, put your feet up, get comfortable, and come play. :) Update: I am now also indulging in SPN comment fic (why? why???), but unless they're more weighty, I'm not planning on posting them here, to avoid the feeling of fic spamming the place. If you want to read them, the tag on my lj is "fic series: spn quote!prompt comment!fic". Drop by sometime. :) |
