This account is for my story, Lullaby (Goodnight My Angel); a story based on the Mortal Instruments series (which I make no claim to-- it belongs solely to the creative endeavors of Cassandra Clare). It is written completely for my own enjoyment, but I thought I'd post it as I go, thinking perhaps someone else might like to read it. This was begot solely because I think Valentine completely shortshifted Jonathon, and did not give him a fair shot at life; condemned him before he was born to be what he is: evil and demonic. It will most likely have two endings: one that I feel sticks true to the way the character of Jonathon developed, taking not only his demonic blood but upbringing into account. There will also be an Alternate Ending, because I love and thrive upon happy endings. Edit: There will only be a second ending if you all want there to be. I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

So, on that note, don't take this too seriously, though it is a serious piece. Don't feel obliged to comment; as I mentioned, I will be posting this as I write regardless, for I'm writing for myself. If, however, you do leave a comment, know that it will be appreciated (did I emphasize that enough?), whether it is positive or constructive criticism. I am, after all, trying to improve my craft as well I can.
