Hi there,

I am RyooT and my primary areas of interest are Star Wars and Avatar. In fact my pen name is a word play on a minor Star Wars character. I got attracted to fan fiction when I came across Cheeseburger Brown's The Darth Side, a hilarious but intriguing personal journal of Darth Vader. It wasn't until last year after watching Avatar that I tried my own hand at writing fan fiction. So far my writing had been more academic and possibly philosophical--mostly about Star War's Jedi and the Force. I haven't uploaded any of these essays here since they are not fan fiction in the true sense.

I am also working on an original character book exploring themes of existentialism and being confronted with real and perceived limitations and how to overcome them. In a way similar to my Avatar story, yet the characters and set-up are different. Hope to be done some time next year.
