![]() Author has written 4 stories for Hunger Games, and Twilight. Hello, to anyone and everyone who happens to be reading this. Thanks for checking it out, even if you just meant to click on something else but ended up accidentally entering my profile... I know I do it often. Anyway, I guess I'll tell you a little about myself. I just decided randomly that I was going to change my Pen Name, so I used to be heatsoul, but I am now Tasting Raindrops. So, yeah. I got a FictionPress account! I haven't written anything on it yet though, but I'll say something about it here when I do. Oh, and there my name is Fellow Human of the Write. FanFiction Information: Currently writing- I'm working on a new SYOT story, The Tempest and Oasis. I needed new inspiration and thought this was the best way. I am going to try my hardest to finish this and update in decent time! I apologize beforehand if it takes a long time in between chapters. Know that I will eventually update, I just take time. Lots of it. On hold- My SYOT story Into the Fire, unfortunately, is now on hold. I ran dry on it and needed to get back into the groove of writing FanFiction. Since I got so excited with ITF, I decided to go ahead and do another SYOT story to get me to start writing again. Right now, I'm working on the newer one, but I am going to try my hardest to get back to ITF. It might just take me a little while. Just give me time. :) I posted a new piece for Twilight called The Road I Chose and it is about an Imprint. After I posted it I realized that I really don't have time to work on it diligently. I take long enough to update Into the Fire, I really can't afford to be working on another story as well. So, for now, this piece will stay at the length of a prologue and one chapter until further notice. Have completed- Good Riddance is a one shot from a stylist's POV for The Hunger Games. If I get any inspiration, maybe I'll add on to it, but as of right now nothing is planned. Planning to write- As of now... nothing. I'm in way over my head as it is. Would recommend reading- --Mad Man's Games by Elazaria. She is also starting a piece called Alliances of the Games. Both of these are for The Hunger Games. --NOTE: Well, it seems that she decided to get rid of her stories. :( And she's changed her profile name, but I feel the need to keep this up anyway. --Hush, Little Baby and its sequel Down Will Come Baby by HalfHope, once again for The Hunger Games. --My First Date with Katniss Everdeen by Kenosha Chick. For The Hunger Games. --The 120th Hunger Games by sleetinthesummer. What do you think this story is for? It's The Hunger Games as well. --The Most Unlucky Hunger Games by Kylie Max. All of these are FF pieces are for The Hunger Games, in case you didn't pick that up. --I Thought Angels Were Meant to Save You by forever.young '94... And look at that, it's not actually a Hunger Games story! It's for Hush, Hush. :) --Recovery and Relapse by ThisLittleDeath for The Hunger Games and all I have to say about it is...amazing. Here is some general stuff about me: Gender- Female 5 traits from The Sims 3 that best describe me- Artistic, bookworm, hopeless romantic, over-emotional, and perfectionist. Appearance- Hair: Brown hair that falls just above my shoulders (when straightened; my hair prefers to do a curl/wave/frizz/puff combo that I'm not a huge fan of...). Eyes: Light brown. I wish they were light blue. Skin tone: Sometimes pale, sometimes tanned with awkward tan lines from marching band... Height: Five feet and a quarter of an inch. And proud of it. Build: Thin. Not really a lot of muscle, though. Well, any muscle I guess would be more accurate. I'm not very athletic (though I have started to play tennis and I really enjoy it...and I am in marching band). Anything else: Freckles across my nose and darker sporadic ones everywhere else on my body. I have a tiny mouth and tiny hands and tiny feet. (Funny story about tiny feet: I went bowling at a friends party last February, and I had to get shoes with the velcro instead of laces. I had to have little kids shoes, and I was the only one. Then everyone made fun of it the rest of the time. :D I have to admit, it was pretty darn funny. Funny story about tiny hands: We had to try on sample gloves for marching band so that they could order them for us, and my hands were too small for the smallest size they had there. So they had to order me extra small gloves. And they fit perfectly! XD) What I love- I love to read and write, of course, otherwise I wouldn't have a FanFiction account. Other things I love to spend my time doing are drawing (I really want to learn to draw manga as soon as possible), listening and playing music (I am proud to say that I play the French horn, and now the mellaphone - hope I spelt that correctly - in the marching band), watching movies, eating frozen yogurt (coffee flavored, preferably, or anything with chocolate or peanut butter flavor). Favorites- Books: The Hunger Games trilogy (The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins), Mortal Instruments (City of Bones, City of Ashes, andCity of Glass by Cassandra Clare... Wait, actually I'm not really sure that it would be considered a trilogy anymore 'cause she is also going to be publishing another book in the trilogy/series that kind of follows a different character more-so than the other books did, City of Fallen Angels, which will be released next year... And the author is also publishing a sort of branch to the trilogy/series set back in the 1800s, I believe, that is about different characters but same kind of situation - there will still be Shadowhunters and Downworlders and whatnot... The series starts with Clockwork Angel...), Darkest Powers trilogy (Once again, kind of... The three books are The Summoning, The Awakening, and The Reckoning, but apparently the series is not over, yet the trilogy is... Kelley Armstrong is coming out with The Gathering soon which is about other characters as well, but it has the same kind of situation, too...), The Host (which might become a trilogy)and the Twilight Saga (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, soon to possibly also be Midnight Sun) by Stephenie Meyer, and many more, but those are the first ones I can think of right now. The others are mostly first books to a series, and I might write some about them when more books come out. Movies: I will hardly ever turn down a movie, but my absolute favorites are, right now, Avatar, She's the Man, The Proposal, and all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Most recently: Notting Hill. (I think I spelt that wrong.) Color: Light blue. It has been forever, and probably will continue to always be. The runner-up is silver... I love silver. Food: I love breakfast food. 'Specially eggs, turkey sausage patties, breakfast tacos, cereal, bagels with cream cheese, muffins, pancakes, waffles... Basically, if I get to eat breakfast (which I hardly ever don't), then it's a good day. Song(s): I have real favorite songs, and then I also have fad favorites that will last for about a week or two and it will be the only song I listen to for that span of time. My favorites are Vanilla Twilight by Owl City, Fall for You by Secondhand Serenade, My Love by Sia, Lead Me by Sanctus Real, and Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap. Quotes are amazing! I love quoting anything and everything. Funny, how I can memorize fifteen quotes in the span of five minutes (that's slightly exadurated), yet it takes me forever to learn anything else or memorize birthdays and names. To help express my love of quotes, I shall now list a few: From Specials by Scott Westerfeld: "You see, freedom has a way of destroying things." From Eragon by Christopher Paolini: "Nothing is more dangerous than an enemy with nothing to lose. Which is what I have become." From To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee: Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing. From The Wizard Heir by Cinda Williams Chima: The solution to a puzzle seems obvious, once you know what it is. The following quotes are from The Host by Stephenie Meyer (each new paragraph is a different quote, and quotes with spaces between quotation marks mean that a new person is speaking): "You never know how much time you'll have." "It's not the face, but the expressions on it. It's not the voice, but what you say. It's not how you look in that body, but the things you do with it. You are beautiful." "It's a strange world." "The strangest." A low chuckle from Ian. "Jealous, Howe?" ... Ian was silent. "Jealous, O'Shea?" The following quotes are from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (these books are hilarious, might I add, and every new paragraph is a new quote, and quotes with spaces between quotation marks mean that a new person is speaking): "I was ninety percent sure." "I see," Clary said... Her hand cracked across his face, a slap that rocked him back on his heels... "What the [heck] was that for?" "The other ten percent," she said. "The boy never cried again, and he never forgot what he learned: that to love is to destroy, and that to be the one loved is to be the one destroyed." "Downworlders?" "The Night Folk. Warlocks. The fey. The magical folk of this dimension." Clary shook her head. "Don't stop there, I suppose there are also, what, vampires and werewolves and zombies?" "Of course there are..." "What about mummies? Do they only hang around Egypt?" "Don't be ridiculous. No one believes in mummies." "It's nearly full dark. We should go." "We? I thought you said you were going to leave me alone." "I lied." "You really want to know what else it was my mom said about you?" he asked. She shook her head. He seemed not to notice. "She said you'd break my heart," he told her, and left. "But you have to learn to bend a little or you'll break." That sounds terrific, Clary thought. Just you, your comatose wife, your shell-shocked son, and your daughter who hates your guts. Not to mention that your two kids may be in love with each other. Yeah, that sounds like a perfect family reunion. The following conversation is also from City of Bones, but it isn't actually quoted. This is just how I remember it going: (Isabelle) "Do you want some soup?" (Jace) "No." (Isabelle) "Do you think Hodge will want some soup?" (Jace) "No, Isabelle, no one wants soup." (Simon) "I want some soup." (Jace) "No you don't, Simon..." The Review Revolution... Even if the fic has 10,002,464 reviews already... Even if the fic is older than time itself... Even if it was abandoned a loooooooooooooooooooooong time ago... Even if the author turned out to be a total psychopath... Even if the OC is a Sue and the spelling would make a dictionary cry... I will review every fic I read. What goes around comes around, and more people will review my own fics. I have joined Review Revolution. |
