HI Everyone! It's only been a short amount of time and already I have such great feedback!! Thanks SOOOO much! So I thought I'd put up a bit about myself and my style. I'm a married, mid to late twenties woman who watches Glee pretty much exclusively for Will and Emma. They are the first couple I have actively shipped since the dawning days of the word "Shipper" (AKA Mulder and Scully). I seem to gravitate towards writing in Emma's perspective (maybe that old saying about men being from mars is true, cause I can't make Will sound as believable). And I also tend to enjoy the "angst+active pining from a distance=fabulous heart racing moment of reckoning" formula in my fic. I'm a realist. I typically won't write something that I don't actually see happening on the show (the only exception to this might be a Baby fic, but that wouldn't be for a while). Also, i'm not really a "music" fic type. HOWEVER. I do write with music playing in the background and it often serves as my inspiration for certain parts of my stories. FOR EXAMPLE. In She's Ready, the scene at the end came to me whilst listening to "Journey's Open Arms." (BTW that totally needs to happen immediately). I just went back and while listening and, Wow. Much cooler experience for me. So, from now on, I'll put little indicators in my stories so you guys know to come over here into my profile to see what I was listening too. Maybe you'll enjoy reading my fic to music!

UPDATE: NO, I did not fall into a black hole somewhere...i'm still here.

Not that this is a good excuse, but I have been super busy with real life lately. That, coupled with a nasty case of writers block has made for very little motivation to write. For those of you reading Into the Night of Darkness, I simply have lost the train of thought needed to complete the last chapter. As soon as I gather my thoughts about that one I promise I will finish it. In the midst of all my CRAZY life stuff, ideas for fanfic still cross my mind...in particular I currently have two "storyboarded" plans for two one shots in the works. One of which, entitled Amidst the Spotlight should be coming down the wire here in the next few days. This lovely song inspired fic, along with the other "storyboarded" piece yet to be titled, came from a very lively conversation me and my lovely skype buddies had recently concerning the seemingly inevitable onslaught of "Themed" Glee episodes. I can only hope that this sort of thing actually happens.
