Well, actually, I've been so exceptionally busy managing Shattered Enigma (http://) that I haven't had much time for writing, sadly -_-;;.

However, I'm making a concerted effort now to try and get my most well accepted stories (Daemon, HND, and...well, there are a few others, but I'm not sure which honestly) back on track with an update or two.

I hit major writer's block on HND, and I read over my first 9 chapters or so and about vomited in rage at how horrible they had turned out. (Okay, actually I was sick that day, so the vomiting wouldn't have been entirely related to my writing, but it sounded better the way I said it ^^.)

So, I guess lemme post some stuff 'bout the status of the stories.

Daemon : Well, I'm in the midst of finishing the last section of Chapter 3. I know a major bone of contention some had with the first two chapters was the lack of action, but I think those critics will be pleasantly surprised when hell breaks loose in Chapter 3. I truly enjoy writing this story, mostly because it's one of the few where I've created characters I really feel tied to, and I want to see what happens to them in the end :D.

HND: *coughs*...well, like I said, I was annoyed at the quality of my first 9 or 10 chapters. And then this latest chapter...ack, it's hard to write the Zerg characters when you aren't writing Kerrigan or the Overmind. I'm going to try to rework it from a different standpoint, and maybe the latest one will be out in March.

Siren Song: For some reason people like this story too...the reasons are unfathomable, and I've actually recieved a few emails wondering when I'll have it done, or at the very least another chapter. I'm working on it...Siren Song was begun in my usual fashion of "Hey, let's write a story...wait...now I've only got a chapter...son of a...", because, of course as any writer well knows, some stories don't like to go quietly into Short Story form, and instead wish to be fleshed out into multiple chapters. X_X I'm working on fixing some of my problems with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if I scrap this story to finish HND, which seems to have more potential to be finished.

Sanctity of Darkness: Well...what can I say...umm...*sighs*. When I started writing this, it was literally the magnum opus of my writing career at the time. I've still got the storyline I laid out...it still draws me as much as it ever did...but I don't know if I can do justice to it.

I've further decided that the viewpoint I wrote SoD from does not work for it at all; it loses a lot of the epic quality I had hoped to lend it. Also, a year and a half has passed since I started, so I'm going to hope that if I go back and start over using the same storyline but different storytelling, something I'm considerably prouder to own will result.
