Greetings and Welcome!

My name is J, though here I go by AGrandMalfunction. I am a writer who has never finished a full-length story in my life. I think there's something about the middle of my stories that makes it difficult to keep going, but I am determined to learn.

The story here - Return of the Yellow Dragon - is a project I've assigned myself to learn to actually finish what I start. The story started out of a re-watching and re-reading of Fushigi Yuugi, which is the most wonderfully weird universe I've ever read about. Something about the last part of the story triggered... something in my head, and though I've never been big on "what happened after the TV show" kind of fics, I found myself writing one, and getting madly involved in research and character development. It's been fun and I hope it's as much fun to read. And yes, it has been four years, buy I'm definitely still working on it!

There are now TWO parts of the story. Part One is complete (yay!) and Part Two is a WIP. It was getting longer and more unwieldy than I thought it would. As I update Part Two I also hope to edit Part One. So watch out for falling files, editing faux pas and other weirdness.
