About Me: While I'm not new to fanfiction.net, I have not been active on here for nearly three years. Some of you may recognize me from my previous username, Reavien. I abandoned that pen name since it was originally the one I used during my early fanfiction writing days and upon returning to this site, I wanted to start with a relatively fresh slate. Whereas my career choice lingers more towards becoming an artist, there's almost nothing I love more than being able to tell a story along with my artwork...thus, just as I'm always looking to improve my art, I'm always working to improve my writing as well. I'm still searching to find my style in both mediums. I've come back to fanfiction.net hoping to get some constructive criticism and tips to better myself as an author and hopefully to find some good reads for myself. I'm Texan--born and raised--, a DC Comics fanatic (especially with the Batverse), an avid horse-lover and a Christian. And also your friendly neighborhood reptile who lies around your yard and eats all your fruit. Why? Because I can.

Basic Interests: As previously mentioned, I intend on taking up art as my career of choice. I'll be attending Savannah College of Art and Design beginning this fall and I plan on majoring in animation or sequential art, with a minor in equestrian studies. I've been trying to read more between my art and other activities I'm involved in. I tend to get a lot of my inspiration and ideas from the music I listen to or just through random things that go on around me. I'm a bit of a gamer, though I can be a little persnickety about the games I play; my undoubtedly favorite game to date is Arkham Asylum, which I enjoyed immensely and I am now anxiously awaiting its sequel in 2011. I also love Legend of Zelda games and Nancy Drew PC games, even if they are for the younger generations. Also as previously stated, I have a passion for DC Comics and the characters involved in them; I may not get the chance to read a lot of the comics, but I keep up with them as well as I can through my own outside research and gaining knowledge through conversation. I also love cartoons, but not the new crappy ones. I'm talking about the ones from the 90s and early 2000s. Oh, and as a fun fact, the reptile you'll always see in my icon/avatar is a Chinese Crocodile Lizard. I love those things.

What You'll See from Me: You're probably going to see a LOT of fanfictions centered around my AU-DC universe that is simply dubbed F4verse for now (Fabulous Four Universe; explained below). I might write for a different type of fandom here and there, such as How to Train Your Dragon or maybe even Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles if my love for that ever happens to return to me. I don't know. It'll depend on my mood, if anything. Or what music I'm listening to.

ABOUT F4VERSE:

The Fabulous Four Universe is an alternate DC universe that I've been working on for nearly three years now, and am still working on. Fandom-wise, it's got tie ins from the TV shows: Teen Titans, Justice League, and Static Shock; along with comic references and other DC-produced cartoons here and there. While I do try to keep some canon ideas/features, I have been trying to make it sort of my own thing...hopefully I'm succeeding in that. Why is it called Fabulous Four Universe (other than the fact I don't have a better name for it at the moment)? Well, this is because it features some original characters of mine (oh the horror) and one of my good friend's--who's contributed to parts of the universe. While the team--the Fabulous Four--was created more as a joke about 5 years ago, it gradually molded into something more serious as of almost three years ago. People who follow me on deviantart are probably more familiar with the characters and some of the events, so, my apologies if random drabbles throw you off or confuse you. Feel free to ask questions or check out information on my DA account if you need to; I'll try to explain best I can. For brief references, the main OCs (members of the Fabulous Four) are as follows:

Phantom: Secret identity, Raven Wayne. Adopted by Bruce Wayne after her parents were killed by getting caught in the middle of a car chase between Penguin and Batman, she was nearly four years old. Inherited enhanced flexibility and a rubber-like bone structure from an unknown relative (the gene appears to be extremely recessive); her abilities are not classified as 'powers' more as physical enhancements due to the fact that her power's strengths are half-existent, but their weaknesses are entirely there, if not doubled. She grew up alongside Beast Boy as Batman and the Doom Patrol worked together for a brief time when the Brotherhood of Evil was in Gotham City; she and BB have a big sister/little brother relationship and he rarely calls her anything other than "Casper". She founded and is the leader of the Fabulous Four, a sister team to Titans West and East. For more information, click here for her profile.

Rockhide: Secret identity, Lune Silverstone. Had a relatively normal life until she was cursed by Mordred, which turned her completely to petrified stone. When Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Superman found her (during the episode "Kid Stuff") along with Saykira, they managed to reverse the curse just enough to make her living rock. A golem. Upon waking up in the hospital and discovering her new appearance, Lune fled to an alley where she was later confronted by Copperhead and Grundy. While defending herself, she quickly discovered she had gained immense strength and near-indestructibility along with her new physical form. Phantom, who had witnessed the fight among the three as she had been hiding from the villains, approached Lune about learning how to control her new strength and offered to take her in. Lune, deciding she had no other path, accepted the offer. She completely abandoned her home life and is now considered 'dead' to her family; she lives between Fourside and Wayne Manor and has a sister-sister relationship with Raven. Eventually I'll start writing F4verse from its "start to finish", from how the characters came to be to...wherever the heck it ends, I haven't gotten that far yet. Regardless, fanfics that are actually in timeline order will be marked. Yay organization?

Limited: F4verse/Teen Titans; Angst/Friendship; PG-13 for drug reference
A short drabble for a meme I found on DeviantArt. You took a few characters, mixed them up, put your iPod on shuffle and then wrote something about those characters inspired by the song you ended up with. Normally my drabbles are only half a page to a page long, but, this one turned into 4 pages. I didn't edit it since it's just a drabble and I wrote the first half while I was grounded on my couch with a fever, so...sorry if it's not my best. It features Beast Boy, Speedy and my character Phantom.

Protect'n the Secret Identity: Teen Titans; Humor; PG-13 for language
Just a dork-drabble I wrote based off something random I was thinking about while washing my car. Nothing really special, just, felt like writing it.

Whatever Happens: F4verse/Teen Titans; Family/Hurt/Comfort; PG, with mild language
In F4verse, the Robin I use is Jason Todd, because, I don't find Dick as interesting (sorry guys, don't kill me). But this is a quick drabble I wrote up while I was on a plane on my way to college. The environment made me think of a scene from "Death in the Family", so, I wrote it up real fast.

Stare: F4verse/Teen Titans; Horror/Supernatural; PG-13 for language and possibly disturbing scenes/blood/violence
A story I'd been mentally playing with for Halloween, but literally decided to post it last minute (AKA, Halloween night). It'll continue to be updated regardless that the proper holiday for it has already passed. I'm sort of writing it as I go, so, hopefully I can keep it consistent, effective and still make sense.
