Fuck all this relationship stuff, I'm gonna be an astronaut. Pairings I adore/write: Princess BubblegumXMarceline (Adventure Time): Because it's adorable, and I've never seen two characters go so well together before. Plus, it's practically canon, or would be if it were aired anywhere other than Cartoon Network. Or some other kid network, I guess. They should just move it to like, Adult Swim or Nick at Night... LilyXNarcissa (Harry Potter): Doomed, forbidden love- even if it's not your cup of tea, everyone has to have ONE forbidden pairing, right? Plus, their names together...just gorgeous. PippaXFelicity (Gemma Doyle Trilogy): The only truly canon pairing of all my ships, these two are absolutely lovely. I am so in love with Felicity's character, and it makes me mad that she loves someone like Pippa, but then again, I wouldn't want her with anyone else. Their love was absolutely tragic...and totally real! I saw hints in the first books, nonbelievers need to get a clue, just because two TEENAGE, VICTORIA ERA girls don't do everything in their power to be together, does NOT mean they don't love each other. Teenage girls are selfish, naive, and AFRAID. Sometimes these things prevent you from following your heart- if they didn't, we wouldn't have a quarter of the fiction literature that we have today. ShimakoXNoriko (Marimite): These two...I just love their dynamic. They're the perfect 'friend' couple. HarukaXYukino (Mai-Hime/Otome): Eventually, you get to a point where you can't NOT love Haruka, and I just love these two together. Their dynamic always makes for interesting stories. YayaXTsubomi (Strawberry Panic!): Not so into the SP anymore, but these two will always be a favorite of mine. ChikaruXShion (Strawberry Panic!): Same as above, but one unique thing for me about this couple is that while I usually only find myself attracted to one character of a pairing, or their personality, I actually love BOTH of these characters. | |||||||
