Dear friends,

We have decided to postpone this competition. We still love the idea and want very much to read all of your stories. That being said, due to busy schedules that include school, families, and vacations - and to due to some of the unpleasant words thrown our way and the way of one our judges, we have decided to press pause.

We appreciate how passionate people are about FanFic because we are too. We love the community and the friends and family we have made here - it is for that reason that we are letting things cool. Unless personally picked on and abused either with words or with physical actions, nastiness and cattiness should never be welcomed here. We should all be above that.

This is a place of free expression and open minds and people should be allowed to voice their opinions - all of that is true. However, there is a difference between being honest or being hurtful with said opinions. Unfortunately, a bitter taste has been left in our mouths recently.

We can only hope that with a little time, some perspective, and some much needed summer fun, we’ll all come back in the fall and get back to what we love about this weird, wonderful, and heart-felt community…
