So, I decided to start my profile from scratch. It just felt too cluttered before, and I wrote most of it a long time ago. Some of the stuff that I wrote about myself can hardly be called valid anymore! ... Well, only some of it.

My name is Cady, to those who are coming to my profile for the first time. Unsure of how to pronounce it? Just watch the movie Mean Girls. You'll get it.

I am 15 years old. I love various movies, shows, and books. Musicals too (although that number is admittedly few). Anything that tells a good story, and anything that moves me to some extent.

When I first started out on , I was a very quick updater for my stories. Now, not so much. I've decided to give up on deadlines, and finish stuff when I feel like finishing it. I'm aware this can cause laziness. I've been thinking about it for a long time this year, and while I know it may mean people will have to wait longer for updates (if people are even waiting anymore), it'll just... feel better. I'm thinking I might write up the rest of the chapters for the existing stories (or maybe just the story I have in mind, just to get myself back on track again) that I have until I get to the end of them. Then I can post them all in a short time span with a much clearer head, knowing it's finished, and all I have to do is add the chapters. It's getting to be too much, now that the premise of the story is a bit foggy to me since I haven't been writing as much. I can work out the rest of it, and how I want the story to end, without feeling too much pressure.

The Lion King 3: After the Peace - (complete) - This story... is very old. I, in all honesty, look back on it, on occasion, and cringe. I'm going to be leaving it where it is, regardless, because it is finished. I don't expect anyone else to really read it, but I'm certainly not forbidding you to. Just... lower your standards a bit for good literature, and you might just enjoy yourself. It's buried deep in the Lion King archive, and I'm fine with that.

Said and Done - (incomplete) - This story is also a bit old, and worse, left unfinished. I might go back and possibly rewrite it if I gain the inspiration to. Delete the existing chapters. Save the reviews, because everyone was so nice to me with every update. I have a better way of going about the plot, sitting in the back of my mind, and I may just act upon the impulse at some point. I guess I can say this story is on hiatus, waiting to be touched again (and improved).

New City Vanishings - (incomplete) - Quite the same as Said and Done, this story actually has the potential to be really good. I genuinely liked where I was going with it, concerning the plot, when I was writing it and posting chapters. I still do. But, looking back on what I did post, I've improved with my writing since then. It could've been executed way better. So... I'd say this is the same as above. I might revise it at some point, but for now, I'm leaving it alone.

How to Carry On - (incomplete) - Heh... Now, this story is really very special to me. My first attempt at a Sweeney Todd story. My first real attempt at writing humans, at that! If you hadn't noticed, everything I posted here before this story had to do with lions and cats. So I was very nervous about posting the first chapter to this, honestly. But, to my luck, the ST fandom is so delightfully warm and lovely, I just can't. We're not what we look like! Really! But to get right to it: I was writing this story when life was being a major asshole to my family and I, pardon the language if it bothers you. Bad luck all around that year, 2011. I just started getting obsessed with ST, and getting inspired by all the fanfictions I read for it, that I just had to write something for it. I was writing chapters for this story sitting on the couch at four in the morning on a laptop while everyone was asleep, and I loved it to absolute pieces. It was so much fun, and nothing could ever really compare. That went on for a while, until I started my other ST story, Deathly Inherit. Then I put this story on hold for a while for more time to write that. Once I was finished with that story, I went back onto this, but... here I am, today, and it's still not complete. The first chapter of this story is... not exactly what I'd consider good now, and the latest chapter is very much improved. It's probably one of the most unbalanced stories you'll ever read, because I made the mistake of leaving a gap where I wrote nothing. It's the story I meant before, where I wanted to write up the rest of the chapters and post them all around the same time, so I don't have to make stuff up as I go along anymore. I hope it works.

Deathly Inherit - (complete) - There are still elements of this story that I love today. It goes along with a popular trope that ST writers use quite often, but no one bothers to mention that it's overused because it really isn't a bad idea at all! At least, I don't think anyone has bothered to mention it's overused. I haven't exactly been in the ST archive in a while. The 'trope', as I'm now calling it, is the basic plotline of Mr. Sweeney Todd, demonic barber and mass murderer of London (with a very broken heart), meeting a child. Typically, a teenaged girl. Still considered a child in his eyes. In the case of this story, a pre-teen girl... who's parents know Sweeney personally, for a twist. I love the concept, really. It's heartwarming and heartwrenching, all at the same time. But I guess that depends on how the story ends. I wouldn't call this story either of those, naturally, because I wrote it. I've seen writers on here who've dealt with similar premises before, and I've been moved to tears by the various results. This story didn't get as much attention as I would've liked, but that's fine. The lovely reviews I did happen to receive made up for how little of them I got (how little of them, compared to how much other people are capable of getting, of course). I just wanted to get the experience out of it, and try my hand at writing something like the great things that I've read on here.

The Eighth Razor - (complete) - Ah, another completed story! I shouldn't give myself too much credit, though. Or maybe I should. It's a one-shot, but a pretty long one. This was a Christmassy story, for Christmas, and I was personally very happy with the result. I had to start it very early in the year, because I knew that if I started it in, say, November, it, regrettably, never would've gotten done. So I'm sure you can imagine I was esctatic when I actually managed to post it on the 22nd of December, just in time. It was a cute, fluffy little idea in my head that I had to get down in writing, and I'm rather glad I did.

Breathe In - (incomplete) - A sequel to Deathly Inherit. I was actually planning on there being a sequel from the start, honestly. This wasn't some desperate need to cling to the characters a little bit longer (even though I had grown pretty fond of them, my OCs). You need to have some form of a plan when going into a sequel. Even if you're not quite sure how it's going to end, you need to have an idea of what you want the characters to do after the events of the first. And I did. I had... a plan of sorts. The story wasn't all and entirely told by the end of DI, and I wrote that story knowing that that was how it was going to end, regardless of what happened in the events leading up to said ending. I've been obsessed with other things since starting this story (and it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, since I still had, and have, HTCO going), and I just haven't continued with it. But I definitely think I want to finish up with HTCO before I even think about writing any more of this, so, yes, on hiatus as well.

A Wild Mule - (incomplete) - Well, I'm going to say this story is incomplete, only because I sort of... promised readers that I'd write a followup to it. A two-shot, if you will. A two chaptered one-shot, better yet. I actually started it a while back, but it's not finished. I was going through a Once-ler craze that has died down the slightest bit since writing this short story. Finishing up writing the second part of this wouldn't really take a lot out of my day, as would writing the chapters of all my other incomplete stories, so that's a bit of a load off. Don't take the 'incomplete' written there as a sign of something truly and utterly not completed, because you can read it and not miss anything. I only started wholeheartedly writing the second part because people expressed interest, and when they express interest, I most certainly do.
