An avid reader of fanfic and occasional reluctant writer of (typically, but not always, worksafe) crackfic and oneshots on kink memes. GeneralZiggy (typically lurking around livejournal or Tv Tropes as Sparkysharps) tends to cycle in and out of fandoms depending on if there's new content and the if the fandom is active and/or pleasant. She writes oneshots almost exclusively, because she does not have the attention span or interest to write something more than one chapter.

She also draws a lot (fanart and original) and, while her art is not eye-gougingly awful, you will almost never see any of her work because she's very picky about what she finishes and even pickier about what she scans.

She is a crack shipper (albeit one that like to think that the pairings she ships have some vague resemblance to plausibility), and fully buys into the crack mantra that threesomes solve every love triangle... Except maybe Kaname/Sousuke/Gauron. That one's doomed from the start.

In everyday life, she's a psychology major at a liberal arts college with an interest in science fiction (of various "hardness") and fantasy literature. Her favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, and Brandon Sanderson. The only reason that Ryohgo Narita is not on this list is because the American light novel industry is nonexistant, and she can only find incomplete translations of any of his work. She writes about herself in third person, because she thinks first person looks weird in print. Her musical library contains far too much Oingo Boingo, David Bowie, and JAM Project than is probably healthy. She plays video games with some regularity, and is kind of obsessive about building her Pokemon team. She dislikes Twilight intensely, to the point that the franchise has been banned from dinner conversations.
