Introduction

Hey, guys! My name is Mad Ink and I am NOT a best-selling author.

What I am is a writer trying to get there.

I joined this site in 2010 with a crazy idea. Or maybe it was more like a question. "What would you do if you got to join the adventures you only read about in books or saw in movies?" Would you change anything to help the characters you love most? Would you do your best to join them on their quests? Would you freak the hell out? Would you be more concerned about getting back to where you came from?

And that was how my OC and the Verdantian Chronicles were born. It was a series I had no idea would play such a huge role in my life or make me the person I am today, but I'm so grateful that it has. Writing FanFiction has helped me become a better writer and has given me the courage to launch an original novel.

But trust me, just because one of my original works is finally being released doesn't mean I'm done with the Verdantian Chronicles. That adventure is only just beginning. For now I hope you enjoy my works as the fun little reads that they are.
