Author has written 4 stories for Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries. I'm a professional wordsmith, editing and designing at a daily newspaper. I've done National Novel Writing Month (November) twice and Script Frenzy (April) twice and completed both challenges. I find writing these stories great practice as I gear up fresh characters for the fall. "The Dead Diva Sings" is my first published foray into fan fiction. I am contemplating going Alan Ball on Viviane once I finish the initial story; I'm not sure anyone has done that with an OC. Viviane kept pestering me while I was on my nightly swims until I wrote her down. The story is as to canon as it can be with an OC dancing and singing her way through it. I appreciate the reviews and alerts I've already gotten. It's a warm fuzzy. I edit my own work pretty throughly, but if you see something, let me know. The copy editor in me dies a little each time I have a typo. I write excellent fully worded text messages. 12/25/10: I haven't abandoned "Dead As A Dame," I just decided it worked to move it as a third piece to the "Dead Diva Sings" business. It requires only two published changes, so I will restart on that when I get the first one completed. |
