My name is Candace I'm a Leo and was born in the year of the ox. I love writing. But real life and other things have made writing go on the back burner. But I will always try my best to get my stories written and updated in a timely manner. In my free time I love to read, cross stitch, bake, walk my dog, swim or ride my horse.

I love the Ninja turtles. Even though I have turned 32 this year my passion for the turtles and the characters hasn't dimmed. My favorite series for the turtles was the 2K3 turtles. I found the plots were entertaining and focused more on the action than the turtles just constantly seeking out where they were going to find their next pizza. I found they were a lot truer to the comics which I also loved.

I also loved the 2007 TMNT movie even if some people thought the plot was silly I still love watching it. It's one of my favorite movies.

Anyway here's a little bit about me...

Favorite Color: Ocean blue

Favorite Music: Classic Rock - usually AC/DC or Metallica

Favorite TV Shows: Superntural, 2003 TMNT, Wildfire, Hell's Kitchen, Heartland, Once Upon a Time

Favorite Domesticated Animal: I can't say because I love way too many. But need to be loyal to Priestly my Yorkie and my horse Nikita.

Pets Living With Us: Priestly - Yorkshire Terrier and Jack - English Springer. Nikita - Black and white paint horse. Norbert - Bearded Dragon

Favorite Books:Currently Percy Jackson series, Eragon series, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harry Potter and Michaela Bancroft series (If you like horses and mysteries the last one is really good)

Favorite Past Times: Reading, writing, swimming, walking the dogs, baking, riding/training my mare Nikita

Favorite Turtle: I don't have a favorite I love them all the same for different reasons. I love Michelangelo's fun personality and his jokes even if they are corny. He makes me laugh even when I'm in the worst of moods. I love how Donatello can take anything apart and put it back together better than it was before, and how he so often gets his brothers out of a sticky spot with some of the things he's invented. I love Raphael's hot headed personality. It reminds me so much of myself, but one thing that always makes me admire Raph is how much he loves his brothers. If they are hurt he is always the first one by their side. I love Leonardo's dedication, level headedness and his deep passion for his family, how he would do anything to keep them safe. I find myself relating to him in a lot of ways.

Favorite Wild Animal: That's another hard one as I love so many - but I'd say a tie between the wolf or the tiger.

Things I dislike: Rude people, animal abuse, people who kill for fur or fun.

Book I'm currently reading: Not really reading or listening to any right now. If I do its some of my old favorites.

Favorite Movies: Hmm...I love a lot of movies I love the TMNT movies, Jurassic Park, San Andreas, Inside Out, and several more

Favorite Holiday: Halloween. It is always so much fun to dress up in costumes and I love baking Halloween treats.

Hey everyone. I know it has been a long time since I have updated or written anything. Leo's story is still in the works. It has been giving me some trouble and I want to make sure I do it justice so I'm not rushing it. I'm hoping to have it done before too long.

Unfortunately for my writing time real life has taken over. For me its a good thing since I'm getting married and my super supportive fiance is supporting me and letting me bounce my ideas for Leo's story off of him and he's giving me some good feedback. So hopefully in 2018 Leo's story will finally be available for my faithful readers.

I promise I haven't given up and I have every intention of getting it done. Thank you for all your patience. I'm hoping after the holidays and wedding things won't be so crazy and I can focus more on writing. In the meantime thank you for being supportive of my work and the encouragement and enthusiasm I've gotten from several of you waiting for the next installment.
