![]() Author has written 6 stories for Doctor Who, Labyrinth, Daredevil, Sherlock, Thor, Jessica Jones, and Avengers. A Note on My Profile Picture: His name is David Bowie and I would call him the True King of Rock (and, alas, I would say he is, indeed, the Rightful Heir to the Throne) if it weren't for the very fact that the man in no way represents Monarchy; he is Anarchy. Thus, he is the Maverick of Rock. I wrote the above note on Bowie sometime before 2015. After January 2016, it still cuts deeply that he is gone. Rest in peace, Starman. STORIES IN THE QUEUE: How Could I Forget? This is a SuperWhoLock story (for those of you who don't know what that means, it is an abbreviation of Supernatural/Doctor Who/Sherlock BBC--an interesting concoction that seems to have become its own fandom, much to my delight). For those of you reading HCIF?: YES. I PROMISE I WILL FINISH IT. I lost all the handwritten notes I'd put together to wrap the story up so from here on out, we're playing this by ear. That being said, I'm determined to give it the ending it deserves, folks. Tra La La, Dr. King This Labyrinth fic explores the dynamic between Sarah and Jareth in a psychological setting: Dr. J. King is Sarah Jones's psychiatrist. The story only has a few more chapters left before it's all wrapped up, but there is indeed a sequel planned that I hope TLLDK readers will further enjoy. The Dead Don't Talk While I know I only got only one chapter into this one, it's currently on hiatus. I do hope to finish it but I've lost the drive for the plot I wrote. So, until further notice, don't expect an update. The Devil & the Deep Blue Sea Herein lies a Jessica Jones/Matthew Murdock pairing. So, obviously, it's a Jessica Jones/Daredevil crossover. Since I like conflict this is significantly more than a romance. Expect bloodshed. Conduit Conduit was a direct response to my dissatisfaction with most Darcy Lewis/Bruce Banner stories. I saw it as wasted potential that there was so much material available for angst and plot yet all I could find was fluff (which is fine in small doses, but I'm a bit too cynical for it.) It drove me nuts. I also lost my mind over the fact that most Darcy Lewis stories painted her as this helpless average intern. I get the appeal of it; it makes her a relatable character. But it also undermines her intense individuality, her emotional strength, and her cunning. She's an incredible character and she deserves a better plot and more opportunities than just being the girl that makes sure the all-important scientists eat their breakfasts and go to bed on time. This is not a Darcy-as-the-Avengers'-mother story. This is a Darcy-kicks-ass story. FINISHED STORIES: Fragment This one-shot explores John's feelings in the hours immediately following what he believes to be Sherlock's suicide through flashbacks and retrospective self-analysis. It's best read as JohnLock, in my opinion, but it doesn't have to be; I don't think even John understands his own feelings in that moment, regardless. As you've likely guessed, this is in the Sherlock BBC fandom. Quick Note on My Updating Schedule: I DON'T HAVE ONE. Ha. Just so you know, before you start reading any of my fics, I write when I have time and when I get the inspiration. I don't give up on stories, however. I usually have things planned out at least four chapters in advance. For HCIF? and Tra La La, I've got the the whole plots written out; they just need to be fleshed-out. But that doesn't mean I will update regularly. I do my best; I love my stories and I adore my readers, so don't worry that I'll drop anything. Sometimes I wait hours between updating and other times I wait months. Just hang tight, 'kay? As a side note, my stories are capable of being something bloody but never sexually explicit. If I ever label a story M it will be due to violence and language. I will gladly consider any requests you might want to give me. And if you just feel like PM'ing for the sake of PM'ing, please do! Let's kibitz, yeah? |
