Author has written 5 stories for Death Note, and Call of Duty. So! This is my profile, I guess. I guess I should introduce myself first :) My pen name is Victor Sandman, formerly John Sasaki. I'm 15 years old, proudly American and Muslim, male, and a fan of Dead Space, Metal Gear Solid, Death Note, and Call Of Duty. I intend to join the US Army as a combat medic after college, then possibly train for Special Forces after 3 years of active duty. My current writing project is a Call of Duty fic, taking place immediately after Endgame, and it has a "zombies" theme. As you can probably tell from my avatar, my favorite character from the Call of Duty series is Captain Price. I think he's rather under-represented in most fanfiction, which is why it's so easy for me to write him. I've written a few shorter fics, and two major Death Note stories. Mostly a bit on the darker side, but depending on my mood, I might write something a little crackish/silly. Fave characters in Death Note are probably Matsuda, Soichiro, and Light. Matsuda because of his comic relief ability and likable nature; Soichiro because he's quite heroic in a way, but always seems to see the best in people; and Light due to the creepiness and disturbing nature of his thoughts and actions. So...Read and Review guys! I'll reply to as many reviews and requests as possible, but I'm a bit busy with schoolwork and life in general, so I can't promise anything. Music preferences: Yellowcard, Pendulum, Coldplay, Celldweller, A Day To Remember, Monty Are I, Drive A, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Qemists, The Prodigy, Junkie XL, Seether, Harry Gregson-Williams, Hans Zimmer, Metallica, UVERworld, Kelley Bailey, a variety of Bleach OST's. Waking up: Beat Crusaders-Tonight Variety much? While I'm writing, I just set my mp3 player to shuffle all. I just skip whatever I don't feel like listening to, and I'll end up on a song I do want quickly enough. Preferred writing tool: An iPod touch, with the PlainText writing app. Amazing free app, syncs your writing to DropBox. Never had much liking to pen and paper, except for jotting down quick notes at work. Once you get used to typing with the onscreen keyboard, you can literally fly with it. I do type faster on a keyboard of course. As for writing on paper, I absolutely love a good, comfortable, light ballpoint, and a good sharp pencil if the former isn't available. On PC, I just don't seem to get as creative as when I'm laid back on my bed or in the balcony or wherever and I'm typing away on the iPod. If anybody knows a good, free writing program with minimal distractions, simple formatting tools, and possibly a fullscreen view, please PM/Email/comment/whatever! |
