I write stories that I want to read. And I read fanfiction to gratify my desires to see more love happening between all my favourite couples.
Of course, sometimes it's nice to see stories from another point of view, or retold with a different spin, but mostly, it's for the lovey dovey scenes we should have gotten but were cheated of somehow.

The very first fanfiction I ever read was Catalina's 'Sink to the Bottom with You' (go read it, it's really good!). The 'main' pairing (or the one I focused on) was the Yuffie/Vincent one, and since then, I've been a devoted Yuffentine fan. I devoured that story and many others without having ever played the game (a sad fault I've remedied after that, playing it and any of its brothers and sisters that I could get my grimy little paws on). Similiarly, the first anime fanfiction that I ever read was one with a Aoshi/Misao pairing (again without having ever seen the anime or read the manga), and I've been similarly devoted to them ever since (does anyone see a trend emerging?).

From then on, I made sure I watched the animes and read the mangas, or played the games before reading the fanfictions so that I could decide on my own which characters and the assorted pairings that I personally like, instead of what glamour and illusion fanfictions had thrown upon them.

So for now, enjoy my works, and do review. I adore reviews. I don't even mind flames :D
From now on (May 2013), if you leave a signed in review, I will reply to it, in thanks to you for taking the effort to tell the writer that she is being read, and that real people are having real opinions of her works.
