![]() Author has written 46 stories for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Silmarillion, Inheritance Cycle, Star Wars, Thor, Avengers, Chronicles of Narnia, Hobbit, Captain America, A song of Ice and Fire, Fullmetal Alchemist, Frankenstein, and Hunger Games. I'm just a poor, wayfaring stranger A traveling through this world below, But there's no darkness, death, or danger In that bright Land to which I go. Greetings and Salutations! We're The Wayfaring Strangers: twin sisters DarthMihi and RandomCelt. I'm Celt! Artist, poet, and lover of stories. The Tolkien Legendarium and the Marvel Cinematic Universe are my two great fandom loves. Personal favorite characters include Maglor Feanorion, Thor, and Wanda Maximoff, to name a few. I'm an expert introvert, a mediocre piano player, and a terrible dish washer with a mind that works largely in the abstract and the metaphorical. I Tumble at . Some of my favorite fics are Mornen's wonderful (and complete!) modern LoTR AU series, as well as her poem Broken, CrackinAndProudOfIt's hilarious The Envelope, and LCAAS's beautiful They Cannot Conquer Forever. Also, Le Chat Noire's breathtaking Trickling Sands and Araloth the Random's hysterical The FanFiction Testament. Mornen made a fanart/coverart for my poem, Swifter Than The Day. Thanks so much, Mornen. :) I'm DarthMihi. I sing...always. Usually alternating between two radically different songs to the detriment of all. I like to analyze people, characters, stories, and ideas. My all time favorite story-makers are Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Andrew Peterson, and Marvel. My favorite characters are Loki, Snape, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Right now, my pet idea is about Heaven and why it really is something to long for. Of the two of us, I am slightly more extroverted, so I'm the one who will probably write back to your PMs. I' m pretty opinionated; for example, I despise the word 'opinion' because once it gets brought up, no rational debate can be had - one side, at least, devolves into Bulverism. Come to the dark side, we've got cookies. Our favorite characters live in an old and rickety apartment building labeled 'The Wayfaring Strangers' Muses,' and this is the order in which they arrived: Gandalf, Legolas, Aragorn, Merry and Pippin, followed by Thorin, Fili, Kili, and Bilbo, moved in first and refuse to leave. They don't make trouble often, but when they do, they take up all our time. Maedhros and Maglor and Beleg and Turin showed up on the doorstep one cold day, looking so noble and sad and fair and desperate that Celt turned into a poodle of goo on the floor and they walked right past. They were soon followed by most the characters in the Silmarillion. A few months later, Loki, Thor, Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanov let themselves in - without being asked - and presided to run the show. Several months following that, Bucky Barnes smashed through the ceiling, claiming to be the 'Winter Soldier.' Mihi was planning on evicting him, but then Steve used Sad Eyes on her and who could say no to that? Then the Vision came bursting Majestically through a wall, and the Maximoff twins preceded to scramble (not so majestically) through the hole he left. Dr. John Watson, Molly Hooper, James Moriarty, DI Lestrade, Mary Morstan, and Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes have taken up residence on the top floor. We suspect they may have gotten there by climbing in the window. The entire Wingfeather family - of Andrew Peterson's brilliant but little-known Wingfeather Saga - have only been here for a few weeks, but they run up and down the stairs constantly, demanding attention. The most recent arrival, the Starks of Winterfell, have quietly taken over the basement, causing Celt to weep buckets and bemoan their fates. Theon Greyjoy and Tyrion Lannister have taken to camping in the laundry room and holding their fellow characters' socks hostage. Theon took some of Mihi's socks. She doesn't seem to mind. (And thus Celt's propensity to make metaphors for everything was made manifest to the world.) "When the darkness crowds beyond the door, and the logs on the hearth burn clear red and fall in upon them, making caverns and ships and swords and dragons and strange faces in the heart of the fire, that is the time for story telling." -The Road to Camlann, Rosemary Sutcliff |
