![]() Author has written 30 stories for Doctor Who, RENT, Harry Potter, Fringe, Merlin, Alice, 2009, Alice in Wonderland, 2010, Castle, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Wreck-It Ralph, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Greetings, friends. I'm a twenty-something Australian and my name is spaciireth... not really, but let's just go with that for now. The name originated as an acronym of ten of my favourite actors, however, one's tastes in actors change between the ages of 13 and 20, and now I don't really care about many of the ones on that list, so I kind of just ignore that now. Anyway. Onto the stuff you actually might be interested in: Fandoms: Castle, Warehouse 13, Disney Animation Fringe, and the Eleventh Doctor era of Doctor Who are my main ones. Sometimes I dabble in fandoms such as Merlin or Sherlock, but not too often. I write a lot for LJ's fanfic_bakeoff, and it allows for multi-fandomness of the highest degree, so I may even find myself writing for things I'm not even that into if the prompt fits. Ships: Castle: Castle/Beckett. What else? Warehouse 13: Pete/Claudia, Myka/H.G. Wells. Fringe: Olivia/Peter, Olivia/Lincoln (in either universe) Other: 9/Rose, 10/Rose, Amy/Rory, 11/River [Doctor Who - though like I said, I really only participate in 11th Doctor era fandom, pretty much any ship you care to throw at me regarding Merlin, Sherlock Holmes/John Watson, Snape/Lily, Snape/Sinistra (inspired by Shes_A_Star's fantabulous “Lamentations of a Starry-Eyed Twit"), Flynn Ryder/Rapunzel, Mary Poppins/Bert. As you can tell, I'm not very “die-for-my-ship” and am pretty open-minded. HOWEVER, if it's a ship that isn't canon, or if there is no obvious subtext, you have to convince me that it could happen. I HATE seeing two characters just thrown together. Also, I'm not a spelling and grammar Nazi, but consistent mistakes will bug the hell out of me. If you're not sure, get someone to read over it! I can let a couple of small errors slide, but anymore and I'm going to stop reading. Same goes for if you have characters acting completely OOC. As for OCs, they are fine as side-characters, but for the love of all that is good, don't pair them with an established character!! I'm sorry, it just really irks me that people do that. It's really hard to do without going Mary Sue, and even if it's not, it's just, well, weird. This can be excused somewhat in AUs, but still try to make them convincing. Anyway, apart from that, I look forward to reading your fics and hope you might check out mine in return =) I appreciate every review I get, even if I don't respond. Sometimes I churn out a lot of fic at once, so there are sometimes quite a few reviews coming in at once, and going through the motions of replying to every single one just gets irritating after a while. |
